Hi I'm Belle and I live a Tom Daley appreciation life. I also like to write smutty fanfiction. Since 08/05/2012. This is a sideblog. diving into Tom's bed
A/N: This chapter is crucial to the future of Bad Karma. If I get a pretty good response to this, I'll keep writing. If not, I will stop at this chapter.
I was sat on the floor, going through my sad excuse for luggage. No one told me I would be going on a date with one of 'Britain's best athletes' and that I needed to bring something that would pass as formal attire.
"Where is he taking you again?" Steffi asked, the spoon no longer in her mouth. She reached out for the jar on the nightstand and waited for my answer.
"Some fancy shmancy place called the Ivy or something that sounds like that," I said as I ran a hand through my hair, getting caught in knots and tangles. I was beyond frustrated and I was just a few minutes away from completely canceling the whole thing.
"The Ivy? Are you joking me, Jac? That place costs the big bucks. And I mean like, Kate Moss and Bono big bucks." She said, rolling onto her back, the spoonful of Nutella back into her mouth.
"I will look like a piece of litter on the street next to Kate Moss. Thanks for making me even more conscious of the fact that I literally have nothing to wear, you bitch," I groaned, tossing a throw pillow her way.
She managed to block the hit—but I was still caught in a sticky situation. I had only packed one nice dress and I was saving it for a really special occasion like, partying after winning the gold for the Women's 10m.
I held the blue fabric up and contemplating whether or not it was a good choice to sacrifice my last hot outfit for a lame stingy dinner with Tom Daley.
"Why don't you wear that?" Stef asked.
"This was supposed to be my 'I just won an Olympic gold medal so I'm going to get very drunk and grind up against someone just as sexy as me' dress," I whined facing my best friend.
"But you've already had sex with Tom so think of it as the dress working in reverse," She laughed loudly.
"You're a bitch, I hate you."
"Psh, no you don't."
"I do--the only person who's ever going to love you is Chris," I responded with a smirk.
Her cheeks turned a pretty shade of pink and my smug smile never left.
"Whatever, you cheeky slag. Just wear the blue dress. Tom would die," She said, looking into the jar of Nutella way too intently.
"But I don't want Tom to die. I want Tom to leave me alone," I whined, feeling irritated at the thought of how one guy had managed to unravel my life with one shag.
"That's probably the biggest lie I've ever heard come out of your mouth,"
"It's not."
"Oh it is. You like Tom. You just don't want to," She stated as if it were as simple as a statistical formula.
But there was truth in what she said.
I did. But I didn't want to.

I was halfway through getting ready when Alex showed up at the door holding a pair of strappy heels in her hands. My eyes widened and internally groaned, “Get those away from me,” I said through gritted teeth, trying to focus on putting on eyeliner.
“Hell no, these’ll make you look hot. Your legs are to die for,” Alex said, dropping them onto the ground next to the flats I originally opted for. She plopped onto my bed unceremoniously and began to go through my phone.
“I don’t want to look like a bloody Amazonian next to Tom—the fucking midget,” I muttered as I put down the make up, “What’re you looking at?”
Alex was staring intently at the gadget in her hands, focused on whatever she was reading, “Tom’s fans are insanity, babes!” She laughed loudly as she pressed and prodded at the screen, “Look here, this one’s even made you a ‘ship name’. You’re called Tac.”
She turned over the phone back to me and I stared at the screen, my eyes bugging out at the thought of people liking the idea of Tom and I together. And the sheer number of people talking about Tac was a little disturbing.
“This is creepy.”
“No—it’s funny! Hey Stef, listen to this one, @DaleysAngels1994 said, I can’t wait until Jac and Tom finally announce the wedding,” Alex read out in a nasally valley girl tone.
I rolled my eyes at my two immature best friends laughed it up, “It sounds like you two, actually.”
All I got was a throw pillow to the head that surprised me and knocked me off my tiny vanity chair, “Fuck you, Stef. It took me a while to get my hair this good looking!”
She snorted loudly as she too scrolled through what looked like her twitter feed, “It took you all of five minutes to get your hair like that.”
“Yeah, and that’s a good five minutes more than usual.”
“Okay, good. Now put on those heels and get out of here,” Alex said, pointing towards the door with her eyes still on my phone.
The heels only made me three inches taller but it bothered me that I would be standing an inch or so over Tom. I slid them on and turned to my friends for approval.
“This is honestly as good as its gonna get… like ever.” I said, doing jazz hands and doing a 360 for them to see the outfit.
It was a bright blue chiffon dress that was loose on top and was tighter around my waist and my hips. It was a few inches short of my knees and truly accentuated the length of my legs.
“If Tom doesn’t smang you, I will.” Steffi spoke as she playfully fanned herself.
“Oh piss off, yeah?” I laughed as I flipped her the finger.

Tom had told me that he was going to pick me up at the lounge of the building I stayed in at the village at 7:00 and we’d make our way into town in his car.
And as usually—I was running late.
But I made no rush, I walked at a normal pace, giving myself time to breathe and time to think. There was literally no turning back if I went to dinner with Tom. Although we’d be far from what people would call an actual couple, we were crossing the line of being just friends.
But Tom and I were never just friends. We tap danced on each other’s nerves and fucked like crazed animals—we didn’t give each other time to be friends. Because when I thought about it, Tom and I really didn’t have much time. The Olympics are bound to end in a little over two weeks and that gave us both no time at all.
For some reason we were still going for it—for the inevitability of broken hearts or anger and disappointment. And maybe that wasn’t all so bad of it meant we both got a good story to remember.
When I had rounded the corner, I caught sight of him standing alone and awkwardly as other Olympians made their way back into the building and up the stairs. They were all donned in sweats or their personal country’s kits, all while I was dressed in some fancy blue dress and heels.
Tom was wearing a shirt with some sort of dog on the front with yellow eyes. He paired it with a dark gray blazer and some nice fitting (if you know what I mean) dress pants and patent leather shoes. I smiled at his obvious attempts at dressing up, but I appreciated the way he presented himself.
I walked towards him and called out to him, “You clean up well, Daley.”
He caught my eyes and instantly, I felt a warmth flow from the tips of my fingers to my very core, “As do you, Vermaak. You look very swanky. Going out tonight?” He joked.
I smirked as I walked towards, “Yeah, this knob of a guy asked me out to dinner. Thinks he can woo me by taking me to a restaurant that One Direction go to.”
He laughed as he took my hand and placed a brief kiss on the back of it, “I never pegged you as a One Direction girl, really. I thought you seemed more like the Bieber girl.”
“Hey now, I resent that. I only like the curly one in One Direction.”
“I’ll let him know you fancy him,” He said as he led me into the car, opening the door for me and running over to the other side to get in as well.
“Wow, we’re only what, five minutes into the date and you’re already name dropping?” I said, as I reached out to toy with the radio. I settled with some indie station that was playing Phoenix’s Trying To Be Cool.
“This song reminds me of you,” I say as Tom maneuvers his way through the evening traffic.
He smiled slightly, casting a glance towards my direction briefly, “How so?”
“Sometimes you try too hard—with everything,” I start, “Your diving, your looks… the restaurant you’re taking me, what you’re wearing, this fancy little Mini Cooper too, yeah?” I look at him and notice he’s tensed up slightly, “And the way you act around me too.”
It got silent as we made our way, the streets always so fully and busy with people and cars. Tom hadn’t said a word until he stopped the car in front of a fancy looking place covered with ivy and glass windows. And that’s when I saw it.
what is bad karma about? sorry i'm new to this blog :)
Bad Karma is basically about this female olympic diver from South Africa named Jac and her delicious sexual tension with Tom Daley all the whilst hating him.
Safe to say Tom is very displeased with how his New Years went… poor baby.
Needless to say 2013 will be a good year for him anyways.
Happy New Years to everyone! I hope your year goes splendidly. Spend quality time with your family and friends and computer and tumblr and anything else that’s important to you all hahaha. xo
