My name is Theo. Just. Just Theo. I've been living in Indianapolis for... two years now? Everything's a little hazy. Sometimes I visit Camp Half-Blood, but I don't really like it there. I go there only when I need space, honestly.
I'm... eighteen years old. I haven't been the best person my entire life, I think. I don't remember much.
I'm a demigod. Specifically a child of Achlys.
I have a komodo dragon and a cat. I probably should let the komodo dragon go, but I'm too attached to him. He's called Gamer, and the cat is called Fortune cookie.
I have many regrets. No, I'm not working on fixing what I've broken. I probably should. But I don't know where to start.
People I know, or have known, to be, or have been, in my family:
@moduscommodus
The first person who's seen something in me. First person to not turn me away. To not be disgusted by me. Um- what I mean to say is, I appreciate all he's done for me.
@hasfuckedagod-willfuckoneup
Someone who used to be my father. He's dead now, and our last talk was an argument I caused. I wish I could tell him I'm sorry.
@onlymythologypersonincamp
Someone I used to call a sister. I don't know where we stand now. I hope the clothes I made her are serving her well.
@notaeoluschild
I got mad at him last time we met. Now he's dead. So great fucking streak I have am I right
@tearslikeacid
The one mortal maternal sibling I have. I don't see him often. But at least we both know we're not suffering alone. I'm glad to have met him. I wonder if he even remembers I exist anymore honestly
@the-little-tadpole
My daughter. I love her dearly. I'd do anything for her, I'd do everything. I'd kill and die for her, I'd- you get the point.
@that-little-squeaker
Technically a sibling from my mother, but I honestly treat her more like a child that I took in. I'm not sure what to do with her but she exists and I don't want to let her go now I'm attached
@oneofthemist
Not technically mortal. But a sibling. From my mother. But that's okay, he's kind to me. At least.
My BOYFRIEND (he gets a separate category BECAUSE I LOVE HIM):
@reluctant-son-of-time
I love him so much I will marry him I am so in love. He's the best person in my life currently and the reason I keep going and he's geniuinely the best person I know and I will do anything for him. Don't tell him but I'm going to propose soon hopefully
Others:
@the-tickle-anon
I want them far away from me.
@sick-and-sleepy
My best friend in the whole wide world <3
@the-lord-enchanter
Weird magician guy

what kind of mental illness does Theo have? Is that odd to ask? I'm curious bc of the warning on the blog idk sorry lol
//it's not odd to ask at all!! Currently he's in psychosis due to an event where his father figure kinda sorta died but not really but he does not believe that that man isn't actually dead. He's also sort of emotionally unstable to the point where even the slightest change of anything ever can make his mood switch drastically, and he's also dealing with a lot of bottled up never-talked-about trauma from his childhood so uh. Yeah
You and another demigod switch parents for 48 hours. All traits and powers and swapped. Have fun.
Theo watched as the Death Mist disappeared from around him. He felt his fangs shrinking into regular teeth. And suddenly didn't feel anything hugging his abdomen, which meant his wings were gone and- dear gods, what just happened? He looked around. He vaguely heard the anon- something about swapping godly parents. That felt... odd. It was scary. What if it's someone in the palace? And they find out he's been hiding his wings?
That's when he realized something. As he looked, he could... kind of tell when certain objects in his room were created. Like- his chair being five years old. That was weird. Who did he swap with? He sincerely hoped it wasn't anyone in the palace. Hey, maybe it was someone he didn't know at all! He also... felt a little taller. He went to his mirror and- yeah, he was definitely two or three inches taller. Which didn't seem like a lot, but it made a difference. He felt more confident like this. It almost made him sad that this wasn't his natural look. He wished he was this tall all the time.
Now, who could he have swapped traits with- it seems like time powers. Time powers... oh. Theo's eyes widened in shock and panic as he thought about what Xan might think of him. Because it had to be Xan- it just had to be. He debated whether he should go see his boyfriend or not, because much as he was scared of these new abilities, his own were probably.. Not that pleasant to have. At least the poison in his blood comes with automatic immunity to it, right? That's one upside.
"Gods, this is a disaster..." The teen muttered as he paced his room nervously. Finally he decided that his traits are... way too visible to ignore, and Xan is probably confused himself, and he would he a bad- no, horrible- boyfriend if he didn't go to check on him. He walked over to his lover's room, keeping his eyes on the floor since it was giving him a headache knowing when things happened to certain things. And even then he could feel a migraine approaching. Gods, this is awful. He knocked on Xan's door. Hoping the man wasn't too disgusted with what just happened to him.
Xan was… well to say ONE fucking thing, he didn’t expect any of this to happen today. Just a normal day, he was sitting and that cat was on his stomach, he was trying to focus on.. something. That’s why he had the cat there, actually. He knows something happened- something bad that he mentally buried and you will be damned if you think he isn’t going to try and find some way to fix it- or at least address it.
The man’s eyes opened only when the thoughts in his head quieted- that was… odd. He’s usually just aware to knowing time on the dot, that it felt eerily silent to not immediately be able to look over and see that-… why was it doing that? He packed, of course he did- look he was used to not having powers blatantly before he died, but some abilities like those have alway been there, and now they just. Went quiet?? Xan shot up, Fortune Cookie got a brief apology as the cat just barely jumped from the man’s abdomen in time. He never put much in his room, a calendar was by the door, more just for nostalgia of back when he didn’t know things off the to of his head- there was some desk, sorta shitty, but not like really shitty- it was decent. He didn’t bother people about furniture and shit since honestly he just sorta started randomly living there one day, his old notebooks that he had stashed away in camp years and years ago had been retrieved a while back and put into a bookshelf, which was one of the most full things in the room. The small bookshelf and the plants that flourished, which were set atop of it and into the suns rays.
His usually gold gaze snapped to the closet door , since right next to it- was a mirror. He stopped dead in his tracks for a moment.. before approaching, moving closer to see just.. what the hell happened. One hand gripped at his hair now- as if to see if somehow one of Eves siblings or some shit like cursed his mirror to play a trick on him or something… but no. He grasped at locks that were the same length as before, yes, but adorned more curls. That color where it’s teetering in between blonde and brunette, but not quite dirty blonde. That strand of hair that usually was in his face, now curled slightly and framed in, and he felt his shoulders tense just at the image. Blue eyes with specks of gold and a ring of it that outlined the pupil, is what he locked onto. It’s a shade of blue easy to forget- the kind that’s deep but bright, where it is a bit between a vibrant beauty, and an ominous glow.
He hated it. What… he looked. Like his mother. He didn’t know what to think- biting his lip as he piled his hand away from his hair- almost as if it burned him- “Fuck-“ the demigod let out a soft curse- shit.. when were his teeth so sharp?? No, not teeth.. his… canines. Xan just stared in the mirror- clocking out the rest of his image and looking to his teeth- when did that happen? Did he not notice it? It looked like… fangs. Like Theo’s. Xan had no context of what was going on, so he could only stare in confusion, and brush off the small trickle that came from pricking himself. His dad- he looks just like his dad, naturally, all the time. So… did someone- somehow fuck something up… genetically? Fuck, he’s not sure how that would even work- things still stayed, like the white freckle-like marks that dotted his body like stars mapping his skin, and there was still remnants of that softly glowing gold in his eyes, a decent amount of it. But his hair.. and the rest of his eye color.. it was all his mother. He. Hasn’t thought about her for a long.. long time. And he didn’t like how it was affecting him now. For a moment Xan didn’t hear the door, too zoned in on the image that would probably haunt his nightmares, as he repeated louder, “What. The fuck.”
All of this new stuff... it was making Theo want to rip his hair out. He could basically feel the ticking of a clock, constantly aware of time passing by. It was exhausting. Does Xan really live like this? That- that's awful! No wonder he's mean to everyone he isn't close with. He definitely deserves a break from... all of this. But switching traits and abilities with Theo isn't... it's not the best option for that. Especially with what's going to happen to him. Gods, he hoped his boyfriend wasn't going to end up hating him because of what he's been hiding from everyone for the longest time.
The ticking was almost drowning out the noises in his head. Almost. So now his mind was one huge cacophony of tick-tock-tick-tock-you're-useless-tick-what-is-tock-happening-tick-tock-here. Something like that. Except ten times louder than it normally would. Theo felt like he was going to explode, at this point. He wanted to go back to his regular powers- even if he didn't like them, at least they were... manageable. He wasn't used to this, and everything felt so loud, and he hated it- hated every painfully aware second of it. He wished Xan wouldn't have to go through that.
Hearing Xan talk through the door made Theo think that it already happened, and that he was weirded out by it, and that he was disgusted by what happened to him and- and he was going to break up with him and Theo would never find love ever again and- gods. It was all so horrible. He wanted to leave, at that point. He stood in front of the door for a moment, debating whether it's even worth it to try, but something in him told him that he should. Maybe it was the need to be close to someone, for his own selfish comfort. Even if that someone probably hated him by now. He'd rather get yelled at, than have to listen to all this noise in his head for a moment longer. He knocked again. "Xan-? Xan, uh, s-something happened..."
“Fuck-“ Xan mumbled as he looked at the door- good gods he- it was like he had Theo’s powers? The fangs and- fuck, please tell him he’s making this up in his brain and it’s some shitty dream, “Um- no- yes? I- Good gods are you alright?” Xan would ask as he quickly approached the door. He hated the idea of Theo seeing like this, especially because he had no clue what was going on and he also hated looking like this- if this is permanent he’s going to actually fucking die this time permanently if that’s the case.
“Fuck I look like my mother- this is so weird.” Xan admitted with a bit of actual distress leaking through his tone, standing now on the one side of the door. He hated this- fucking fuuuckkkkk the probably wouldn’t recognize him because of this stupid fucking- whatever is going on! “Shit.. just— what the fuck is going on??” He’d mumble as he opened the door, just a bit. This has to actually be a fucking chess- not the pain part, but the physical part this HAD to be a curse or just some hod deciding they hate him more than before. And his fucking body hurt too- probably the fucking FANGS or whatever the fuck is going on with his body, good lord he was going to Kay down for a million hours or put like five ice packs on because his spine like really. Really fucking aches.
"I don't know??" He really didn't. His head hurt. He was realizing how agonizingly slow time actually passes. He had no idea seconds were this slow. He thought they were like, two times faster. Nevermind that- Xan had his features. He was almost sure the wings already sprouted, but it didn't sound like Xan was in any pain or hated him or anything like that. So he started to doubt his theory. Maybe- maybe he didn't grow those yet. But the only way to check would be to enter the room. And either see if there's any blood, or hug the man and check if he feels anything on his back.
"I don't- it's- fuck, my head hurts." He didn't seem to care about the fact Xan said he looks like his mother. Truly he couldn't be less bothered about it right now, or ever. When Xan opened the door, he saw Theo standing there, his eyes now golden and- was he taller than before? He was definitely at least a little taller. The temporarily-son-of-Kronos tried to peek through the door to assess the situation. "I have no clue, some weird- anon thing, please let me in-" He didn't see any blood from the crack through the door, and he couldn't tell whether that was good or bad.
Xan lets out a reluctant sigh and he eyes away from the door, opening it as he does so, man this was going to be a fucking pain, “Fuck, I hate anons, they’re so fucking- ugh.” Xan leaned against the wall and held his arms close, in a sorta self-hug motion. Fortune Cookie who had been here simply jumped onto the desk nearby, tail giving a little swish as the creature watched the odd interaction.
“This is- freaky. I hate this.” Xan admitted, giving a small shiver just at the thought. It’s not the switching powers with Theo specifically, or whatever it was, but… it was disgusting to think someone could switch around or split up his genetics- or make him look like… this. He didn’t like this. He’s going to find the anon who did this, and he’s going to skin them. This sucks, this fucking sucks, and everything hurts, and this situation makes no sense and he so fucking badly wanted to tie his hair out of his face or cut it off and sit in a isolated room without any mirrors and the thing he hated the most is that he almost felt fond when he looked at the image like his mother. He shouldn’t be feeling that- she was an asshole! He hates her- it definitely only made him panic more to know that looking at her image didn’t immediately scare him.
As Theo entered the room, he quickly scanned the area to check if there was any indication of major changes. There didn't seem to be anything, and he guessed if Xan had new appendages he probably wouldn't know how to use them- and nothing was sticking out of his boyfriend's back. So he guessed it didn't happen... yet. Which meant it was going to. And he hated that. He also hated how that was his main concern- he should focus on his boyfriend more, he needs to stop being so selfish.
"Yeah. It's... I don't know. I never expected- I'm sorry. This is weird." He couldn't say he wasn't weirded out by this. He also couldn't say he didn't want his powers back. It wasn't like he thought Xan's were awful, just- his powers were his. It felt so natural having them, and this little event just... it just wasn't great. "...I do think you might want to uh... sit down."
“My gods- I’m dying again. I’m dying and this is the gods laughing at me this has to be that. Holy shit—.” Xan leaned back on his bed and looked like he was honestly close to just having a major panic. He hated this. Hated that someone changed his body, hated who it looked similar to, hated that everything he’s just barely gotten to know, got violently twisted. Everything hurt and he was already having a hard enough time processing this. He just took Theo’s comment of ‘sit down’ like as a way to rest, not throw himself into some goddamn attack over here.
“It’s okay, it’s fine, yeah it’s okay. Nope, it’s not your fault, just the stupid- stupid anons.” Xan tried to reassure, while also trying to keep himself decently calm. It. Wasn’t really working.
"No- n-no, you- it's fine, it's- two days. It'll last two days, okay? That's- that's what it said. Two days. It'll be okay.." He really wanted Xan to stay calm. Because he figured he needed to tell him what was going to happen to him, and that sucked more than anything else right now. He had hoped he'd keep that hidden his entire life. Looks like life had other plans, though... And he hated it.
"I really need you to stay calm because if you freak out then I'll freak out and that won't be good-" How does he even start this entire thing? His head was pounding. He didn't know how to form sentences anymore. He took a deep breath, trying to clear his mind at least a little. "There's... something I've been hiding for a while now. You, uh, I think you have my powers so um- I need to tell you." Good gods he was making it way more ominous than it needs to be. Probably raising Xan's stress levels... fuck. "You're going to- probably- you might grow wings. For two days."
Xan blinked, then stared at the ground for a straight minute, his eyes wide as he slowly looked over at Theo. He wasn’t mad, not annoyed or- okay he was just panicking- IS THAT WHY STUFF HURT SO MUCH? Fucking fuck- and Theo’s just been- dealing with this? His boyfriend’s been dealing with this silently how the fUCK. Okay. Okay okay okay after he’s done being panicked he will have so much more respect for his boyfriend for being able to deal with this shit EVERY DAY HOLY FUCK?? “…I’m gonna what.”
"I don't know if you definitely will! I mean- it took like... a long time for me to- you know. So it might just hurt for a while and it might not grow in. Orrrrr it might do so really, really fast- I don't know." Good gods, he felt like he was overexplaining this whole thing. Was he doing too much? Was he doing too little? How does he even prepare his boyfriend for what might happen? This has never happened before! He has no clue how to deal with it. He was so caught up in all of the stuff and freaking out about it all that he forgot to apologize for hiding the fact that he even has wings from Xan. "If you do there's... probably going to be a lot of blood. Like. A lot of it..."
“Good gods good GODS— okay I- it’s going to be fine. I’ve died before, I’ve been revived before and been fine in the end- it’s fine.” Xan put his face in his hands, before said hands move to brush anxiously through his own hair, even if the familiar color and texture made him want go tear it out. This would be totally fine, yep, he’s been dead before, he’s been revived and dealt with some of the pain- and- it might not even happen! Everything thing will be. Okay. “Okay I just. Theo- how long have you been.. dealing with this?? Fuck-“
"Yeah, yeah it'll- it's going to be fine, and- and you've got me! Uh... to hold your hand and... help bandage you and stuff.." He felt like this was getting awkward. Was he making it awkward? Theo rubbed the back of his neck when the question came up. He didn't think it's been that long, it couldn't! The wings weren't even done growing, right...? Though they did feel... a bit less painful. And he's been having trouble hiding them like he used to recently, so it was good he wasn't going out anywhere or letting people see him much. So maybe- but it couldn't have been long enough for them to fully grow in! "I don't know, a couple months maybe?"
That was a guess, but right as he said it, he was struck with a piece of information he did not like. His head began to hurt even more, clocks appearing in his eyes briefly. He groaned, "I first noticed it uh.. May 12th, 2025 at.. 3:16 PM, when I was trying to take a nap and I- don't usually remember stuff like this."

Theo stood frozen for a moment. He knew what this was about, but it couldn't be true. It could not be true. It wasn't true. He knew it wasn't true. Someone was trying to mess with him. Someone was trying to mess with everyone in the palace. And they were succeeding. It hurt Theo to see the people living here in such a state, but he knew he couldn't do anything about it. No one would believe him if he said anything. He knew that because it's happened before. And he knew that if he spoke up, everyone would jump to call him crazy when he was the only sane one there! He was the only one that was seeing through the lies and deception and- and the whole playing on people's feelings thing!
He took a step back, now scared. If someone was there to mess with him, who's to say they wouldn't hurt him? Who's to say the person pretending to be Lucas wouldn't be mad at him for not believing he wasn't dead? The demigod's entire body began to shake, he held himself tightly to try and calm himself down, nails digging into his skin. His breathing became heavy, his vision blurry, everything about this seemed so... so weird and he was scared.
"Shut up- shut up! H-he's dead- he's dead he's dead he's dead he's dead he's dead... he's dead he's dead he's dead he's dead he's dead he's dead..." He kept repeating it, as if that would make people believe him. It almost sounded like wailing of a ghost. Mortals don't come back from the dead. They don't do that. Mortals don't do that morrtals stay dead this isn't Lucas it's not lucas lucas is dead he's dead he died on new years hes deadhes deaddead hes dead hesdeadhesdeadhesdeadhesdea-
It had certainly been long enough since Wysper died, and she still hadn't made her way to any of the people his stuff was supposed to go to. She didn't even look in his cabin. Just when she was finally able to start planning on staying with the hunters full-time, Wypser died. What another horrible coincidence. Again and again and again, would there ever be a break?
She decided she should give the scarf to Theo first. She really hoped he would forget how mean she was to him in the past. Or at least not mention it. He was intimidating, all things considered. The last thing she would want to do was get on his nerves. But she had a responsibility, and she couldn't keep neglecting it. She shadow-traveled to the palace and started wandering around in hopes she would find him, taking deep breaths to calm her anxiety.

Theo has been so... so numb as of late. He doesn't really want to express much emotion, it's not worth the energy. He usually stays in his or Xan's room, avoiding everyone else like the plague. Most of the time they avoid him too, but that might just be because he specifically picks times when people aren't around to walk places. He has not willingly talked to anyone ever since the whole.. Lucas thing. People usually leave him alone.
He did not seem happy when he saw Sophia wandering the halls, he hasn't been in a good mood for quite a while now. He immediately started retreating to his room, even though he had gone out for water. He especially didn't want to have to deal with her, because he knows how she tends to handle things that don't go her way. Didn't wanna talk to her because he knew something would come up that would turn into an argument, and he wasn't in the mood to have someone yelling his head off. So he was being a responsible adult and being the bigger person by backing out of that interaction before it even begins.
"Hey! Wait!" she called out, following after him. She figured something like this would happen. It wasn't like she could blame him for not wanting to see her. Any other time, she would have avoided him, too. "I'm sorry, but this is really important, I promise! I'll leave you alone after!"
Whatever it was, he clearly didn't want to hear it. Especially from Sophia, of all people. What did she want from him, anyway? It wasn't like she didn't have a loving family to hang out with. He looked at her through the crack he made when opening his door. "What?"
She held out the blue scarf she'd been holding all this time. Wysper's scarf. All of a sudden, just when she needed to speak the most, her throat felt like it was closing up. Her brain seemed severed from her mouth. She swallowed, forcing herself to say the words she rehearsed to herself. "Wysper asked me to give this to you. I was at camp, and he just... Disappeared."
She balled her fist at her side, looking down at the floor. "I think he died. That's how he was talking, anyway."
Theo looked down at the object. He's already grieved Wysper. He didn't need a reminder of him like this. He wouldn't make a mistake like that again. He was already keeping one dead man's item in his room, gods damnit, he didn't want another!
He looked back up at Sophia's face. His expression remained the same. No emotion. Just. So numb. "I don't want it."
She hesitated, her nails digging into her palms as she tried to think. The sharp pain certainly did help to drown out her stray thoughts. On one hand, she didn't want to be pushy. It was perfectly in his right not to want such a thing. On the other hand, this was one of the last things Wysper told her. She didn't want to go against his last wish. She still held out the scarf. "Are you sure? I don't know why, but... It seemed like he wanted you to have it."
He stared at it. He didn't understand why anyone would think that he would want something like this. An old keepsake. He's already mourned the person this belonged to. Keep it for the grave he won't visit. Which will make him look like a horrible person and like he never even cared but at this point that's better than having to mourn over and over again. "Take it away."

"Aha.. hah..-" Theo stood there for a moment, staring into the wall of his room as he sat on his bed. Then, he started giggling to himself. His eyes felt wet, but nothing came out. After a while, the demigod began to slam his head back into his wall repeatedly for about thirty seconds. In an attempt to calm himself down he pulled on his own hair, which did stop the banging, even if it made him pull a bit of his hair out. His hands then wandered to his neck and started scratching violently at the skin. Once he tired himself out, he just... sat there. That's it. Mandatory breakdown done, thoughts scrambled, mourning finished. Time to move on. Life taught this man that you don't actually have that much time to get over people you've lost. He needs to go on with his life like he usually would. That's just how it is now.
