also ty for all the suggestions on how to get more reading done! unfortunately it's less about time/access and more that I hate reading when I'm supposed to be writing. I feel so guilty I can't focus. normally I try to binge read in bursts between projects, but the tgr > tbc stretch was ill-handled so I am massively behind. trying to get over this by having a designated reading day each week.
(also, I can't handle audiobooks, same way I can't tolerate podcasts. something about being incessantly talked at just freaks me out. nothing against the format, they're just 1000% not for me)
* Keanu Reeves is obviously an exception, and I read Micaiah Johnson's The Space Between Worlds last year. super excited to return to that universe
*** I have a stack of high fantasy novels that did not make this list because I'm saving them for after Kevin's books, to prepare for the overdue shift from sports to demons & holy wars. pls god let me survive long enough to read them, so many of them sound so good

..got sick Again in Jan for 3 weeks, getting a little tired of this
..practiced sobriety for 2 months. wish I could say I felt better / slept better / felt renewed & refreshed, etc etc but the truth is I did not particularly enjoy it. was an interesting experiment though

..have bought a truly horrifying amount of books in the last couple months. I am excited about so many of them. hopefully I will eventually read them. at the rate I've been reading it'll only take me like………. 75 years. going to create a 2026 reading list with assigned weekly books, see if having a rigid list solves anything.
..I wish I could talk more about TBC, there are so many parts I want to share.
.."how long is wretchedly long???" well last time I checked we were at 135K and there's probably 50k left to go unless I trim it down any. (unlikely. joy of being self-published is no one can tell me to stfu.) so far we've been pretty even-stevens on POV breakdowns. picking POVs is sometimes the hardest part of writing this set. example a: the chapter I've spent the last four weeks on has changed POVs 6 times. I've rewritten it so many times it has its own "cuts" file separate from the main one.
..the news is horrific! evil people keep winning! keeping faith in humanity is getting a bit difficult these days, but if we give up on ourselves & each other then what else do we have to carry us through

Full Body: 45 USD (+ $35 for second character)
Half body: 40 USD (+ $30 for second character)
Bust: 35 USD (+ $28 for second character)
Headshot: 30 USD per character.
Style 2 - Detailed Color
Full Body: 55 USD (+ $45 for second character)
Half Body: 50 USD (+ $40 for second character)
Bust: 42 USD (+ $32 for second character)
Headshot: 35 USD per character.
The price for 3+ characters will be discussed depending on the scenario.
(Simple) Chibi: 7 USD each.
Please keep in mind additional fees may be added if the illustration has:
Detailed Clothing, such as armor or intricate patterns: 5 USD ~ 20 USD per character, depending on complexity.
Hard Gore: 5 USD ~ 25 USD depending on complexity and number of characters involved in total.
Soft Gore (such as bruises, minor cuts and burns, minor blood) have no extra fee. If several of these details are required in a single character, a 5 USD fee will be added.
Detailed Backgrounds: 10 USD ~ 50 USD depending on complexity. There might be some kind of backgrounds I cannot draw.
