Late this summer I had the chance to do some commercial work for a new and upcoming fashion line for professional women. Miss Jess! I have known Jessica and her family for quite awhile now. Jess and my sister grew up together and I was honored when she asked me to be a part of her day. Her mother is one of my mother's best friends and Mary's only request was that I give her falsies on her daughter's wedding day. I did indeed and thought she looked just as stunning as the bride. Margaret Michael Photography was there to capture the day and I absolutely fell in love with the detail shots with the flag! Congrats Mike and Jess!

I was so happy to be back at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield. Simona was referred to me by another bride that got married at Riverside two years ago. Actually, many of the vendors were the same as Brianna's wedding. Simona had quite a large wedding party in which I couldn't handle my self. So she brought on Salon Belle in Williston to help out as well as Alexandra Makeup Artistry. Also I can't forget the beautiful photography from Jenny Moloney.
Thanks to secretlifeofabionerd I found this awesome tutorial on how to make a washboard for my makeup brushes. I don't know about you but I HATE washing my brushes, mainly because I have so many. I went to Dollar General last night and bought a plastic clip board for $2.95 and took out one of my four glue guns and pretty much created exactly what the video showed.
I washed all of my brushes today in prep for a double header wedding weekend and was thrilled with not only the amount of time I saved but how well the brushes came clean. Also I didn't have dish pan hands afterward, another bonus.
I also created my own brush tree instead of shelling out $30 for the one @benjabelle sells. The one I made was inspiration from another youtube video by Beauty by Tara B. It only cost me a bag of rubber bands!
Last fall I had the privilege of working with Laura and her great wedding party. It was a beautiful day, the weather perfect and the only little hiccup being that one of the groomsmen forgot their white shirt.
For Laura's hair we kept it simple with a kiss of vintage. For her makeup we kept to a neutral pallet just enhancing her natural beauty!
