Making & publishing photo book with blurb
After contacting with blurb support, I converted my design to pdf and logged into the blurb. They asked me to upload my pdf.
However, after uploading the file, the software rejected it and said it was in an uneven size. Then I edited the size of my file again and submitted to blurb pdf uploader.
I encountered some other pieces of information like:
1. To make a book one must use first inside page to right-hand page followed by the spread and start for the reading purpose that I did not know.
2. I can publish without an ISBN number if it is not to trade.
3. Images must be high resolution and for print is has to be 300 dpi.
After successfully uploading my pdf to the blurb, then I navigated to how I want this photo book.
I had two options.
1. Make a pdf which can be opened and viewed by any device.
2. I can create a fixed layout kf8 epub formatted ebook which can be purchased from amazon or apple store or play store.
As I wanted both for my photo book I chose both options.
After my conversion of the book, blurb sent me a link to my pdf which can be opened on any device. And the platform where I can sell my e-book or someone can order it.
Contacting Blurb
After exploring and researching, I am planning to publish my photo book with online publishing platform called blurb. The reason to choose them is that their website and user interface is clean, neat, and easy to use and understand. In addition, their feedback is quick and informative. They have already informed me what is needed to make the photo book. So I will give them the converted pdf of my photo book that I designed and go through the procedure.

A change in plan
After I researched and explored the process of how I can publish and promote my photo book; I found three facts:
1. A printed photo book should distribute through the online platform to sell and promote.
2. Moreover, the amount for that is up to 50 & I need an ISBN number for publishing printed book, which will cost me additional.
3. All these processes of printing the book will take a long period of time.
4. I can publish the book as an e-book in publisher platform, which will promote and sell to e-book readers of Kindle or I book who will purchase and download the photo book as an e-book.
So, after I reflected on my research I think I will be making only an e-book due to my short of the budget on printing the book. But I will be keeping an option to print my photo book later with another project.

My finished Website.
Creating Website
For my photo book project, it is essential to have my own website. I need a platform to highlight my photo book as an e-book and printed book to contact and collaborate with others. Even though I have social media to promote and connect to people with my photo book; I think it is essential to have a website as a professional who wants to promote & distribute. In addition, it will help me to store and display my photo book online.
I found it is ideal to make a website in word press. It is an open source platform and it is free. Also, it gives the option to custom built a website with themes, plug-ins, and other features.
I used free themes and made the interface of my website by editing the layouts. I am making it minimal and brief with primary menus and posts. I am also giving the option to contact me through the mail on my website.
There is an option of upgrading my account to promote with facilities of premium themes, permalink structure, and Google analytics but I do not think I need them right now.
Finding Publishing Platform
After my last contact with a printer company, I understood I that need an online publishing platform to publish my book. I also understood that in a digital platform one can publish and sell his/her own book through Amazon, Kindle or iBook. In addition, these publishing platforms give service of creating own layout through their custom software and systems that they developed. They also help to sell and distribute the book online and offline. They will print books on demand too.
I think I will contact one of them to print and publish my photo book.

Photoworks commissions new photography, produces exhibitions and events including the Brighton Photo Biennial, publishes books and an annual magazine.
This is useful and informative.
I have received a message from printersofdream.com. unfortunately, they replied that they don't print books. I was unaware of this fact. I think I will contact with a publisher of book printers.
Budget for my photo book
to make this book I esteemed a budget in Microsoft Excel.I want to calculate how much it is going to cost me. Even I saw they give a round figure for printing, I want to categorize what actually going to cost me and have an expenditure sheet.
Making the photobook
To make the photo book I am working on some reference. I liked Sally Mann's photo book cover of What remains. It is a simple and clean cover for a book.
I also looked in Behance for some professional works. I think it is essential to select an image to represent the essence of the book. I am editing and scaling my images for photobook in Adobe Photoshop. I am also experimenting with font and composition in Adobe Illustrator to understand and create a desirable design for my cover of the book.
Contacting Print & publishers
To make this book first I explored some publishing and printing website. In addition, through researching, I found information to make this book printable like printable file formats, photo dpi for printing photography, which paper to print and how much it going to cost, how it will deliver. Therefore, I will contact a publisher I found based in London and ask for feedback for printing this book.
Voilà! I put together a list of blogs/pages on photography books (in no particular order). I love all of them! If you know other blogs/tumblrs on photobooks, let me know. Tumblr blog.8hbooks The Angry...
I found blogs where I can find process and thoughts shared by people who made photo books in projects.

I acknowledged many artist and photographers currently working with their photo book across the UK. In their website, I found many information and location of book fairs and exhibitions.
