Anybody got a light?
Possibly.
How and why do people use these things?? They’re so stupid.
You don’t know how to use a computer?
Thank the Gods I have flawlessly tanned skin, naturally, otherwise I’d be making some serious complaints about this ridiculous weather.
Thank the Gods indeed.
Pet shop let me bring this little guy home for a few days as a rental.
Cute. Does he have a name?
I Can't Tell Dreams From Truth || Blaze and Devon
Devon had enjoyed the holidays. He got to visit the kingdom, being treated like a prince. Plus he had Alaina. It was good. Which made his return to school not so great. Fresh into the new year, after an incredible banger, left the rest of this month feel like a drag. Especially having to be at school. He was walking outside, trying to make it through the cold, when a familiar voice called. He turned and laughed. “Maybe if you say please, Blaze,” he chuckled, “And if you can bum me a cigarette.”
Blaze smirked as she seen him walk closer to her. "Fine. May I please have a light, Devon?" She teased him with a grin. It was nice to see an old face around the campus. Blaze did enjoy there previous few meetings they already had. He was someone she would consider a friend although she would not admit that to his face. "God, you are such a mooch." She told him, giving her over one of his packets. "Do you ever buy your own or do you just steal mine?"
I Can't Tell Dreams From Truth || Blaze and Devon
Blaze had enjoyed her time off. The ice on the roads always made it more fun to drive. She lived for the adventure. The school work was only getting in her way now. She missed the days where she got in her car in the morning and didn't need to come back for days if she didn't want to. Blaze was never used to being in one place. Her father took her around the world with her and she loved it. The school was never going to live up to the places she had been. Stepping out of her car she pulled a cigareete out of her mouth and tried to light up, cursing when it wouldn't "Hey, you got a light?" She asked the net person that she saw.
You must just be a wonderful influence.
I take pride in that.
No, I just got a ticket for that one.
Who knew you were such a trouble maker?
Someone should entertain me.
Depends what kinda entertainment you are looking for.
Detention wouldn’t be so bad if they would let me have the pen and paper.
Get caught speeding?
Is it meant to be difficult?
It was very boring the first few weeks here but it seems to be picking up now.
Black Irises in the Sunlight || Blaze
Patrick laughed as they walked along outside. “I was just kidding,” he assured her. “I do that now, you know? Joke around, cut up, crack wise, the whole thing.” He listed off on each of his fingers. Still not completely serious, but of course he couldn’t be. The phrasing of those sounded almost tacky and hard to chew. Patrick wasn’t the most eloquent person, but he did have his stereotypical snob standard of how to hold himself in front of people. Blaze was just one of those people he didn’t feel he really had to keep his shirt tucked in around. She was fun to be around. Her comment about being his first just proved that to him. “Hopefully an enjoyable experience for the both of us.” He slipped in to the driver’s side and turned over the engine before heading out on the road.
Blaze smiled as she could see the happiness in him. "Ah, so I can get myself ready for a lot more teasing then?" She teased him with a smile on her lips. It was nice to seem him grow more over the time that she had known him. Blaze did consider him a friend and a very good one at that. While she thought that after a week she would be packing up her bags and leaving this place, she found that there was more here than she thought. "Well, we will just have to wait and see, won't we." She laughed, smiling at him as she slid into the car, watching the road pass by them as they went for a drive.
Oh, this place is just the cutest.
Keep that mind set, things will be a lot easier.
Black Irises in the Sunlight || Blaze
"How many times have you said that to somebody?" Patrick joked with a light laugh. He had caught on very early that Blaze wasn’t a faster than a speeding turtle person. In their prior meeting he envied that about her just as he envied anybody that could live free and in the fast lane of the world. He had dragged and pulled anybody that had the patience down to his pace. He hated that and had been a locked up shut in. Now was different. Even though they were just going for coffee, he wouldn’t be running off to take his medication. He was happier and healthier than he ever had been. "Seeing as you id take so long, I figured we could take my car. You can be the first in my passenger’s seat." He pushed the button for the headlights to come on so she could make an affirmed decision herself.
"Just what kind of girl do you take me for, Patrick?" She said with giggle in her words. She liked Patrick. The school was slowly getting better by the day and that was something he was that she was thankful for. Blaze did not do standing still. She always had to be moving. And the faster; the better. It was her nature. Her mother wanted her to do something practical and by that she meant take over the Cozy Cone. But her life with her father is what always got her. "The first?" She asked with a smirk. "You know, they say you never forget your first." She teased, getting into the car.

Patrick pulled on a pair of jeans and a plain white shirt beneath his black zipped jacket. He took his phone in his pocket on the opposite side of his wallet and started out the door to meet Blaze. He had genuinely enjoyed her company the last time they had hung out and hoped this venture would be just as enjoyable. He had a fixed heart and was going to take every opportunity he could go where he couldn’t before. Something as simple as going for coffee would have been hell for him in the winter before. He was absolutely ready to enjoy it now. Patrick made it down to the courtyard to wait for his acquaintance.
Blaze dawned a skirt with her woolen tights and a pair of boots a top of her cardigan. She loved this time of year. The crisp air always got her in the mood for the festive season and there ice on the roads only added to the excitement when she was on the roads. Blaze was looking forward to hanging out with Patrick, he seemed like a real and genuine guy and in her world, they were hard to come by. She fixed her hair before leaving to go and find him. As she walked to the courtyard, she smiled on seeing him there. "Hey there. Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long."
