i have a 10-6 and i've been in the same field for 16 years (it is a career ive given one of the boys in a previous fic once)
i am a lesbian who's proudly contributing to declining birthrates
my hobbies include embroidery, writing, the occasional gif making, jewelry making, baking, cooking, and reading
i started writing horror and drama in high school, about 18 years ago; but writing smut and stories that are even remotely sexual started when i created my ao3 account. if i must be self-aggrandizing, i do feel like you can notice an uptick in the quality of my writing from my first works till present- and that is why.
i can't say what shaped me as a person exactly, but i do know what shaped the way i write. (warning, sappy incoming) i spent a lot of time in the closet, when i first came out to my parents i was sent to religious conversion therapy, and went back in the closet. for most of my adult life to my friends and partners i identified as a bisexual. i had a lot of very casual and meaningless sex with men before i realized that i wasn't interested in a romantic relationship with them. comphet kicked my ass; and i don't think i'd have ever realized i was a lesbian if it wasn't for rwrb. i spend a lot of time identifying with alex, im a southerner, i grew up in an oppressive town- and i love the queer community in my southern town more than anything. the compassion and familial bonds you form with other queers in a less than accepting community is one of the most beautiful things ive ever experienced.
those are a lot of words to say that queer love is extremely important to me, queer representation is extremely important to me, and queer sex is extremely important to me. i spent a long time feeling like the queer sex i had was both more taboo and more pure than sex i had with men; only to realize it's neither. sex is sex. if it feels good you should do it, and if it doesn't you shouldnt. it's fun and i think it needs to be more normalized in queer spaces. its neither the thing that makes you queer, nor is it something that has to be sterile or holy so that straight people accept us. im writing smut for fun, because my friends think its hot, because it's neat when my barbies kiss, because i still think taynick are hot (from a distance), and because if i use the things i learned fucking my way through men then i didn't waste my time, right? (lighthearted)
ultimately my wish is for everyone to get gayer, get more comfortable with themselves, and maybe learn a kink or too. perhaps im fooling myself by thinking writing gay sex on the internet is doing any of that, but i'm having fun so who cares, not me.

i have over 80 fics on ao3 and while i acknowledge all of them aren't firstprince/taynick; only about 12 of those fics are alex/taylor bottoming. just because i write 3 in a row where the brown man bottoms you suddenly need to request more bottom henry/nick outta me? with that being the most popular and broadly written dynamic in this fandom, mind you. you realize how this sounds, don't you?

“Mhm,” Alex agreed, already tugging his own shirt off his head and stepping closer. He carefully reached behind Adam to hang it on a coat rack before taking a spot beside his boyfriend. “Super fucking gay.”
“Oh…wow,” Adam whispered, eyes raking over Alex’s torso. Instinctively licking over his bottom lip as his gazed traveled over rounded pecs and rippling abs.
“Gorgeous, isn’t he?” Henry prompted, clearly watching the way Adam stared. “I’m willing to share him, well, right now anyway. Not always, not typically even, I’m just feeling generous. You’re allowed to touch, he likes that.”
Alex chuckled, lips pulling into a smirk as Adam nodded eagerly.
“Yeah, no,” the taller blond agreed, nodding quickly. “He’s gorgeous,” he paused, looking up at Alex’s face, “I-I mean, you’re gorgeous. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone who looks like you before,” his eyes shifted to Henry then, “You’re… so generous, very uh, yeah, super giving.” Swallowing hard, he reached out one hand, running fingertips along Alex’s chest. Shuddering as they brushed through dark hair scattered there; as if he was the one being touched. “What the fuck…” he muttered breathlessly, mostly to himself.
“Speak up, love,” Henry purred, “He likes praise as well.”
“I just mean, who even looks like this,” Adam whispered, shaking his head. “It’s insane. Your face and your body. It’s… just, wow.”
