He's such a fun puzzle to solve when it comes to finding the perfect balance to express a very particular emotion on his face. Because, while yes, the teeth/brow combo is supremely important to his expressions, his eyes are also such a key part to conveying his moods. Anyways, your honor, I luv him, and for my parting statement, here's Caine with a crucifix:

Hello, I'm a bit new here. I was in the TF2 fandom for a while but I never tried reading any fics before . I found your series "It Came With The Rain" and man! It's my absolute favorite of all time! It has everything I want in a fic; drama, horror, action, mercs being family.. I was more than happy when I came across the second part "Tornado Warning". I love it so much! Amazing work! I was wondering if you plan on continuing it? (I have no idea how AO3 works I apologize for my stupidity lol, I don't mean to put any pressure on you I just don't know how to know if a series is to be continued)

Oh hey! Thanks for the ask! Firstly, your English is wonderful, don't apologize for it! Secondly, I'm really glad you loved my fic! I DO plan on finishing Tornado Warning; I don't like leaving stories unfinished, especially before I can get to the juiciest parts of the plot. Problem is that I've been busy with life, and my interest in tf2 had been put on the backburner for a while in order for other media I enjoy to have my attention (this year's been full of new installments for things I enjoy so my brain is kicking and screaming whenever I think of dragging myself back into my tf2 focused mindset). BUT YES! I will finish it, and hopefully my brain will let me get back into tf2 in order to do that before 2026 ends ;-;

I've actually been asked before about translation, and I think, unless someone is really rude about it, I'll always be in favor of their efforts. Lord knows I'm not a good translator, I've relied on Google for basically every encounter with another language :,P But yeah, go right ahead! You have my blessing, stamp of approval! hey, do you have a tiktok? there's an artist on there who has made a couple of videos about it came with the rain, they're really quite neat.

Someone did!!? I don't have a tiktok, that's been one of the social media sites that I just don't want to get involved with for more than a few reasons, but one being that I don't want to get sucked into another site that will steal my attention away from things that I should be doing instead like driving practice or errands. At college, where me and my dorm went to an art museum over the weekend. And we decided, in our arty wisdom, that we should remake some paintings we liked in our on style and flair. And thus, 16th century Tigger was born!

Hello.... I am interested in translating your tf2 fic "It Came With the Rain" (and its sequel) into french, and I want to have your explicit permission to do so before I even start.

I've never done this before so I don't know what standard practice is, but I'm eager and enthusiastic.

My goal with a translation would be to remain as faithful as possble to the original.

My dialect of french is quite niche, not very many people speak it, so I don't know how big the audience for this translation would be, but I'm not concerned about audience size.

I want to do this because I think it would be really neat to contribute something to one of my favourite fics of all time, and also it would be really good as an excercise for my brain.

That being said, I want your permission to do so... And, if you do agree, there are some logistics that need parsing through in terms of how the translation would be published. Which I'm not gonna talk about right now bc that's like, 10 steps ahead in this whole process...

Hey, thanks for asking first! I think I would be fine with a translation, as long as proper credit is given. Of course, you can take credit for translating it, but just be sure that it's clear I wrote the original version. And as long as you remain as faithful to the original fic as is possible, then I have no issue with translation :p I'm always going to be a bit wary when it comes to translations, since I've since far too many people change stories to fit what they want instead of remaining objective, but those usually stem from people hating what they're translating, while you seem to genuinely enjoy my story, which I'm really glad you do! So yeah, go ahead and translate it, go forth with my blessing! If there are troubles you come across, you can always ask me for some advice if I can give it. I can't guarantee I'll reply right away, since I'm now in college and am constantly bogged down with schoolwork, but I'll try getting back to you as soon as possible. Eyyy, the final gal is here!

I was torn between drawing her og unicorn form or the alicorn version, but I just decided on alicorn.

To be frank, and honest, I was not a fan of Twilight as a kid. She was my least favorite of the bunch, mostly because I am not a fan of the goodie-two-shoes characters, or nerdy characters, and I guess the way she's introduced as an asocial stuckup and just flips 180 degrees put me off. Idk, all I know is that my dislike has faded over the years and now I just find her alright. I think if the show showed more of her learning about how friendship works instead of seeing and guiding others morally I'd be more fine with it, since Twilight is the one meant to be learning and growing as a person. But that aside, she's fine, and I do like the color purple :)
