My name is Florian Von Closen, avatar of the End. My lovely boyfriend @julian-of-the-vast asked me to make an account on here, so here I am.
My apologies if I do not operate this app correctly, I have been around for a lot longer than Tumblr has, but I haven’t quite figured it out yet.
I also run a flower shop, you may contact me via the ask function regarding orders.

This is my silly!
Florian is Henrik (Albrecht's brother)'s bastard son who got adopted into Henrik's family after his mother died, right before Henrik died. As a teenager, he took to spying on Albrecht’s meetings with Jonah, and that’s how he got his first knowledge of the Fears. Florian had some kind of immunodeficiency that because of the time period made him almost constantly sick. He was so used to being told he was going to die that by the time he actually did (of typhoid fever) at 26 he had completely accepted it. Before his death, he had lived a quiet life as a gardener working for his stepmother. He left Germany and settled in London after WWII. He had a hard time dealing with his semi-immortality but he’s managing well enough now, with some help from his boyfriend, Julian.
He serves the End by gifting a person a flower or plant that is tied to their life force. As long as it lives, the person does, but if they let it die, they will waste away as Florian did.
disclaimer: I do not speak German, but Florian does. I'm sorry if my limited knowledge and google translate fail me :(

The usual rp rules, no nsfw, magic anons welcome (encouraged even) within reason, no thread is too old to continue.
Florian sits behind his booth at EvilCon. He has the flowers separated into two sections: "Cursed" on his left and "Normal" on his right. The painstakingly handcrafted sign across the front of the booth reads "Floral Time" spelled out in dried flowers.
He's not used to being so candid about selling cursed flowers, but this event was supposedly for avatars only, so he didn't see the harm in honesty.
Florian has just poured the pancake mix into the pan when there is the sound of the front door unlocking. A man lets himself in. He is much shorter than Florian, with messy grayish-blonde hair dyed with streaks of blue. His blue eyes are the most striking part of him, and they light up when they see Florian.
"Hey babe—" he stops suddenly when he sees Albrecht.
"Florian told me about his childhood quite a bit—how you would to read to him when he was sick and play with him when he was well. You and Clara took good care of him."
Florian is cooking the food and listening to them talk. He laughs when he hears this.
“Jules, do you want to explain? Or should I?”
“It’s such a convoluted story. Basically, I found Florian in his house, which was all rundown and I thought was abandoned. I was tipsy, and my friend dared me to go see what was in the ‘abandoned’ house. I found Florian there, and he was really sick. I felt bad, so I brought him some food and medicine, and once I got him to leave the hermit lifestyle behind, the rest is history!”

Albrecht happens upon a flower shop. A man is outside hanging a garland over the door. The man looks down from the ladder at him, a puzzled expression on his face.
"Onkel Albrecht? Bist du das?"

[Albrecht pauses, stunned for a moment. He recognizes that voice…but it can’t be, can it? He turns to look at the floral shop.]
Florian? Oh Gott! Oh! Endlich ein bekanntes Gesicht!
“Ah.
(Ah. I'm sure you remember my many illnesses? It turns out that my many encounters with death have strengthened my bond with one of the supernatural entities you and Jonah have studied. I believe you witnessed the illness that actually killed me. In the short time I was dead, I was offered a second chance to serve the Coming End, and I accepted it. I have lived all this time in good health, and as long as I serve it, death will not come for me.)
Florian placed a hand on his shoulder reassuringly.
(No, no, you didn't cause this. I was already sick when you started meeting him, and it was my own fault that I eavesdropped on you. Your studies with Jonah just gave me a name for something that was going to happen anyway. Besides, I'm happy now. I've built a life for myself and found people to love, which is much more than I ever had before I served the End.)
“Früher war ich gesundheitlich nicht in der Lage, mich beständig darum zu kümmern, doch die Gartenarbeit war schon immer eine meiner Leidenschaften. Clara ließ mich früher dem Gärtner bei der Pflege der Gärten helfen – wann immer ich dazu imstande war –, und ich liebte es. Und so verkaufe ich nun, da ich es wieder kann, Blumen.”
“In the past, my health prevented me from pursuing it consistently, yet gardening has always been one of my passions. Clara used to let me help the groundskeeper look after the gardens—whenever I was able to—and I loved it. And so now, since I am able to do so again, I sell flowers.”
