sometimes i feel i have the capacity to recall anything. in my mind i drew a picture, the poetics of this space; max’s room, alone at the the tippy top of the universe.

where i live is in constant, aimless flux. in a house an object is moved with purpose. in my house, objects are foreign, nuisances. we place value in the literal space - anything not anchored to a wall or ceiling is ever moving towards being elsewhere, to being placed outside. we place value in the walls. i command 12 panels of plasterboard; each wall plug, each successive ‘owner’ a tiny ball and chain, a pneumatic spud gun rejecting the delineation of space. i think of the house in a kind of cutopen sims view, as a rotting Numbskulls head, as framework, a series of rope bridges and curtain runners
