Hello there, how are you all doing?

This is just a little reminder that our submission box is empty. If you have any nice things to share there is no better time than right now! We want to remind you that your submissions don’t need to be long or elaborate. They can be as long or as short as you think is needed. The content doesn’t matter either. You can do shout outs, thank you’s, share something nice that happened to you, share something you did for someone else, perhaps even something you saw happen! As long as its positive it belongs here!

I want to give a fluff shoutout to Stormlord who gifted me 40 Winter Wolf Pelts yesterday for the Swipp trade, saving me two hours of grinding and potential disappointment and also essentially helping to deck out my now very awesome-looking Hoarfrost.

Hey everyone, hows it going? sorry this blog seems to have been a bit frozen over for a while. heavenlyEarth has done a great job with posting what comes in, I was a bit  disheartened before but I'm back now -w-;;

Just reminding you this is a mostly submission based blog and when we dont have that much content its usually because we have no submissions to post for you guys. We would love to see your stories!! Just send them in and we will post them.

if you're getting burnt out on nocturne hunting

- for me the 100-chests-or-more-at-once thing is that much more disappointing if you don’t get anything awesome, and it tires out your hand more quickly. but this is just mostly personal preference, of course

- lots of 20 or so (or even whenever you get a chest) are good for taking quick “breaks” from the coli and you’re less naturally inclined to expect something amazing because it isn’t such a huge number!

- remember, the event is only just starting! you still have quite a chance for the things you want.

- step away from the coli, take some breaths, get some food and water, hug the nearest animal/decent family member 

- nocturnes are not a finite resource even after the event!

I just want to say thank you to those in nature who never give up reorganizing and planning even though were not very good at dom. You know who you are! You make me proud to be in this flight even if others may tease us and you make me want to push harder than ever for dom!

I just want to thank everyone for being so welcoming to me as a newbie! I was from the November registration window and everyone was so generous that now I am mentoring newbies for the new window and giving out dragons and I couldn't have done it without the kindness of the community!

We haven't been around much but do not despair! Both of us are still around :D

Sadly we haven't  gotten anything in our submission box/ask box in awhile. This blog is still around just slumbering lightly until we get more submissions in. We are always open to submissions through our submit box and ask box!!!

massive thank-you-oh-my-gosh to Noelle at @noelles-advent-calendar as well as all of the donors who contributed to the amazing gift I was given yesterday! The Flight Rising population is so amazingly kind <3 I cracked open the chests I was given and came out with 200 gems and 250,000 treasure, as well as enough familiars to finally bond one with all the dragons in my lair <3 and enough pirate garb to outfit a bunch of them with proper swashbuckling attire!

Seriously, I’ve been on FR for less than a month and I’ve been completely floored  by the amount of kindness I’ve seen in the community, you are amazing <3333

Hey guys, with the most recent window coming to a close we thought it would be nice to say hello to all the new flight rising members. We're sure there will be a lot of generosity going around at this time what with gifts and raffles and such going on, and we hope to hear many of those stories or see posts about them flying about!

im gonna be real sappy here for a second and reiterate that there is literally no place on the internet i’d rather be than in the FR community. ya’ll are sweet, considerate, generous, and resourceful, and i respect and admire each and every one of you like hell.

like, legit, no other group of people other than my slam poet brethren have made me feel so loved and accepted before in my life.

give yourselves a pat on the back and treat yourself to another stack of that thing you collect. you deserve it.

I have a list of dragons that I'm trying to get that all correlate with certain video game/book/movie characters. They're all pretty rare colors, but someone just sent me the PERFECT Zelos and Fanta dragons. I love them so much. T~T

I was a little bummed at how hard it is to get pink wooly fluff items and happened to whine a bit about it on Tumblr - really, just wanted to vent a little. I then find an entire set of pink fluff in my inbox from a kind user, and another sent me materials for the trade. This community and their random acts of kindness will never fail to stun me!
