Hi! Welcome to the Fluxarata-Music blog! This blog is dedicated to posting music that fits Fluxarata, also known as PolarityDuo. As of current I am mostly focused on Fluixon and Saparata from Ish’s “1,000 Players Simulate Civilization: Rich vs Poor” AKA StateSMP 2.5, but may consider posting about other SMPs they are on/events they are apart of or about other characters in StateSMP 2.5 in the future.

I have a queue going, meaning there will be daily posts. Those will include the song title, who it's by, and the full lyrics. Lyrics will typically be pulled from Apple Music (yeah, that's right, I'm a cringe Apple user), so if something seems to be written incorrectly, then uh idk my bad man. If I cannot find the lyrics on Apple Music then I will move to using other lyric websites such as Genius and AZlyrics. If a song is partially or fully in another language (if it's only like 3 lines this doesn't count) then I will find a translated version and use that, which will be indicated by [Translated from LANGUAGE HERE to English] at the top of the post. English is the only language I speak fluently, so if something is translated incorrectly, please let me know!

Also!!! I love listening to all kinds of music and want to hear what others have to offer! That's why I take suggestions (my asks)! Suggestions will be answered throughout the day whenever I have time and are additional posts not included in the daily ones. The songs suggested first will be answered first. Suggestions can be anything to do with Flux, Saps, or the both of them! Both platonic & romantic will be accepted, as well as songs relating to fan fictions! You must include the song's name and who it's by, but are totally welcome to yap about the reasoning behind the suggestion as much or as little as you'd like! I will do my best to listen to all the things you folks suggest. After listening (probably multiple times), I'll give my own little Fluxarata analysis of the song and my opinion of the song in general (I may change this in the future.) Fluxarata is very flexible and their relationship to each other can be taken in multiple ways, so I'll try to draw as many interpretations from a song as I can, and then give a good yap about it.

Both suggested songs and the daily ones will have the #Fluxarata Music tag so that once this has been going for a while you can easily just scroll through and find a bunch of songs about our favourite little guys! I may also make a playlist in the future with all of these songs as well, if folks want that.

This is my first time making a fan-account type thing (I don’t know if that’s the right term for this but whatever), so this might be a bit scuffed, but that just adds character, so it’s totally fine. Yup. Definitely makes sense. If you guys have any genuine questions or helpful tips for someone who's newer at Tumblr you can also drop them in my suggestions (asks). Okay, I think that’s everything. here me out, allies or enemies by crane wives i feel like it makes so much sense

As a Crane Wives fan, absolutely. I like to think of allies or enemies as more of a song between two siblings but I can totally see this, too (and so can others because an anonymous also suggested the same song)!

I feel that there are better TCW songs that could represent them, as the question of if they’re “allies or enemies” isn’t really a question—they are enemies (or at least to me that seems clear). But ignoring that, other parts of the song such as “I want to be let in, not out” and also the entire second verse “Remember when I could tell you not to smile when you were mad? And you would always crack, and we'd both be laughing in the end. Now you're not so quick to forget.” I think this song really fits them if we start talking post-series revival, though. Then the whole totally clicks!! A song about being unsure of your current relation to someone you used to be close with, but wanting to make amends? That is absolutely how I picture it going if Flux was revived or didn’t die somehow after their final battle!

Okay. Big important question chat. Does anybody wanna help me and co-own this account with me? I apparently stink at consistently posting so I’m starting to think this may be a good idea.

Also would it be cool if I also started sharing just a couple lyrics from a song instead of a full song? (Not that I would stop doing full songs just that I would start doing this too.) There are often songs I think fit them but then they get sexual or there are only a few lines so I can’t put the full song.

Another question. Is it time to start including songs relating to AUs or are we not ready for that? I read so many good fics and have ideas on music that would fit em, plus it would mean that I get to promote other people’s work and I love doing that!!

I have so many questions for the direction this account is gonna take. If you folks have any ideas on what other things a Saps n Flux related music account could post lmk! I may even open this up to include other characters! :D

Oh and final thing. Are we cool with some sillier posts? Ones where I just yap about music I like that doesn’t have to do with Flux n Saps? Or should I keep that on my main (@vibovibes, if you didn’t know! I post lots of creative stuff and sometimes make my own covers of songs I like)? I like to think of this as the account where I specifically yap about music, but the Saps n Flux part might be more important than the sharing my specific music taste part.
