When You’re Wrong, Be Wrong
Everyone is wrong sometimes. That’s just the nature of human life and finite knowledge. No one likes to be wrong, though, so many people will try to either explain why they were still right (if only you’ll look at it this way), justify why their point was still valid even if it was wrong, or brazenly refuse to accept that they were wrong to begin with. Such behaviors often lead to escalating arguments, which is clearly not a good thing.
It’s ok to be wrong. It’s expected that you’re going to be wrong sometimes.Take the correction when it’s given. Be thankful for the correction. Apologize for being wrong. Improve yourself by learning from the correction. Don’t be ashamed, be humble; this isn’t failing, it’s growing.
