“Of course, tell me someone who hasn’t heard of the famous Lightwoods of New York City.” and now Alicante, “You might have to refresh my memory, it’s been some odd years since I’ve been in the good ol’ Big Apple.” Give or take a hundred years, the warlock thought as he crossed his arms, eyes slightly narrowing at the weapon though his glasses mostly hid it. “Preferably without--” Motioning to the staff in question. “--that. I know better than to attack a shadowhunter, I try to keep myself out of trouble.” For the most part anyways.

∑ - there was never a day where isabelle didn’t enjoy her job somehow , but there was always a day when it was frustrating , where she didn’t want her bracelet to uncoil and do her job herself instead of getting the newer hunters in a group . a new warlock was on the scene and with magnus the high warlock of alicante , isabelle had to step in until a new warlock was chosen to negotiate the accords . “ i know you’re here , you lit up my radar like a christmas tree . ”

At first there was no response, no sign of movement until something slithered out from behind a set of trash bins. It looked to be like any other snake, dark scales with patches of red and an equally vibrant underbelly. The serpent stared at the shadowhunter and within a blink of an eye, the reptile was replaced with a man wearing dark clothing with dark shades.

“Didn’t expect to get a welcome wagon on my first week here.” He quipped, his tone amused mixed with slight trepidation. “And by the Head of the New York Institute to boot.”

Theo’s coloring as a snake is always constant, a permanent fixture of his mutant abilities--meaning that while he can mimic the appearances of other snakes and unique physical characteristics such as the rattlesnake’s rattle or the cobra’s hood, the coloring will always be the same black scales with a red underbelly.
