feels (also me being a self-absorbed dickbag)
i feel like your biggest “problem” is that you give everyone else too much slack and you’re supremely unfair to yourself
many are nice, few are selfless. i think selfless is the more appropriate term for you
you are a phenomenal human being, i don’t ever want to hear you say otherwise. i’m dead serious, you’re one of the few really really good people i know
you need to learn to be more selfish. i get so worried whenever you put so much effort into helping somebody because i know that you aren’t going to quit, even if it’ll hurt you in the end
don’t feel bad about venting out. you’re usually the one listening to everyone’s problems, now it’s your turn
don’t thank me. don’t tell me i’m a good person for listening to you talk. you’re the one that’s worth listening to; i do it because you deserve it
michael, no matter what happens, just do you. be your own person and do what you have to do
you’re a dumbass for trying so hard. but i can’t lie when i say that i don’t even know what it’s like to have a heart as big as yours
everyone has insecurities. don’t blame your own: if anything, blame everyone else for not supporting you as much as you have supported them. i don’t think you know exactly how amazing you are as a human being. i’d wager that most people (me included) are supremely grateful for the support and love that you show to them
if you don’t resent her for her actions, then why do you resent yourself for your own? you should give yourself more credit
It’s unbelievable. Really. I used to think that my friends said these words to me because, well, that’s what friends do. But then I started looking at it from the other perspective: they aren’t saying these things because they’re my friend, they’re my friend because I am these things. And I’m friends with them because they’re awesome too. I can’t help but feel arrogant and selfish about this topic, but at the same time I’ve realized that I need to have a lot more self-worth. I matter. I’m an important person, and more specifically, I am not trash.
My friends are seriously wonderful fucking human beings. But at the same time, they’re wonderful to me for a reason. I gotta give myself more credit, regardless of how self-centered that sounds when written out.
I’m honestly surprised at how quickly I’m bouncing back from things, but then again, it’s easy to bounce back when you’re falling into a trampoline of support from your friends and family.
Much love to everyone who has been there for me for the past few days. I cannot thank you all enough.
