Scorpius grinned and traced the illustration with his finger. “They really are quite fascinating aren’t they? You know, the accent fireballs, as well as a couple other dragons native to China, were major influences on how Muggles see dragons these days? Well, at least Chinese dragons.”
He glances up with a faint look of surprise, a smile chasing after it. "Really? That makes sense, all those muggle pictures of dragons and stuff look so cool.."
"Erm.."
“Detention? I didn’t peg you for the… kinky type, but c’est la vie, the quiet ones are usually the freakiest. Do I have to call you ‘Sir’, the entire time, pup or do you have other things in mind?” Avaric practically purred at him, like a cat going in for the kill, or a fifty year old cougar looking for the hunt.
"...Ki–––" Frank's eyes widened in confusion....and embarrassment, as he realized far too late what the other had been insinuating throughout their entire conversation. He swallows and takes a step back, unable to do more than blush under the opposite's lecherous gaze and scramble to think of a reply lest he look even more stupid, if that was possible. "...Y-You don't have to call me S–..Sir, everyone–– uh, just.. calls me Frank..." Apparently, it was possible.
Nora lay on the grass near the lake, enjoying the rare sunny sky. Her eyes fluttered shut as if she was about to take a nap (which was really tempting, she had to admit), only to open a moment later when she realized someone stood near her. “Hmm? Need something?”
"I, uh–– I'm sorry, Nora.. I didn't want to bother you cause you looked so peaceful and––– but I.. I think it's going to rain, soon.." Frank smiled sheepishly, absentmindedly twisting the edge of his sweater while he gazed down at the girl on the grass. Leave it to Scotland to ruin a perfectly sunny day with rain....
"You know," Scorpius said, biting his lip as he looked at the book before him, "I really like all kinds of dragons…"
He hums in thought, turning the page of his own book. "..I like Chinese Fireballs.."

The grin on his face doesn’t falter at all as the other male started to approach him. If anything, the hesitation that he has only made Albus grin just that brighter. Frank should know Albus didn’t mean any harm by calling him a idiot. Albus would never truly intend to offend someone, not even when he was angry. He wasn’t cruel.
"Of course you did. I’ll pretend that you did, just for your own sake," He chuckled lightly. "I’m ok, Frank. Is there any reason why you are asking? Am I not looking well? I thought I looked fine when I looked in the mirror this morning."
"No, I mean–– You don't look bad, you never do. You're very lovely–– err... Handsome?" Fuck. "Attractive." Nope, try again. "You're....n–no, yeah, you're fine.. I only, uh.. meant that I haven't talked to y-you in a while, so.." The elder runs a hand through his unruly curls, cheeks ruddier than a howler. "..I just–– just wanted to know.. becauseI never really, uh.. got a chance to talk to you after wh-..what happened in your dorm..I wanted to know if you were okay."

Shock to Your System | Albus & Frank.
With having nothing to do for the whole day, after having completed most, if not all, of his school work, Albus had headed down to the quidditch pitch with the full intentions of having a short flying session. It had been a while since the last time he had spent time on his own just flying the full length of the quidditch pitch, feeling the wind brush against his cheeks and his hair blowing around but unfortunately, when he reached the pitch he saw that it was already occupied by the ravenclaw quidditch team. So he decided to stay down there and watch the team practise but of course, he didn’t do it for his own team to gain any tactics or game play but for his own enjoyment since he always liked to watched people play and yet he couldn’t keep his eyes for training in on one certain playing dressed in tight quidditch attire, or maybe one or two players actually.
Once he realised that they were soon close to ending, Albus made his way down from the stands and began to slowly walk his way up the winding path that led up towards the over-towering castle just up ahead. He wanted to get away before he was noticed by any of the ravenclaw team members and was accused of snooping when he really wasn’t! In fact, he actually admire the talent that some of the players acquired but he figured that it was too much to ask for as he hears his voice behind called out from not too far behind him.
As he whirled his head around, he realised that it was frank who was calling him and he felt slightly better once he knew it was him and not someone else. Although, Albus’s lips twitched up into a small smirk as he saw Frank go to someone else other than him. He was amused and equally offended that Frank thought he was a girl so perhaps Albus should show him exactly where he was, especially since he was only just a few metres in front of the pissed-off girl!
"I’m here, you big idiot." Albus raised his hand up to his head and wiggled his fingers at him with a big grin on his face.
There was, in all probability, nothing that would equally measure up to the sigh of relief the elder boy heaved, finally having found Albus. It wasn't the first time that day he'd been called an idiot, but it probably was the first time that day where the simple word hadn't made him felt worse. No, from Al? The word was almost complimentary, especially with the grin that chased after it.
"Oh–– Albus... Hi. I, erm.. I meant to do that."
No, he didn't.
"It.. was a joke."
No, it wasn't.
".................How are you?"
"Erm.."
"You’ve got your whole House behind you? That’s so cute, good Godric. But Head Boy’s gotta act tough, I’d like to see that sometime you know… behind closed curtains.” This was getting out of hand, but Frank was genuinely a blushing bride from the 40’s and it was a delight to torture him.
"..Behind closed.....––like a detention, you mean? Why would you want a detention..?" His flustered nerves soon made way for confusion, his brow furrowing. Was the other making fun of him?

"Erm.."
"You’re not allowing yourself to kiss other people, Adorkable? That’s such a shame, kissing is such fun. Might I enlighten you?” Avaric was getting off on this shamelessly, not in that way though. Pervs. It was quite delightful to see the little puppy squirm, such shameless schadenfreude, right? Right.
"N–No, the, uh–– The rest of.. the rest of Ravenclaw isn't allowing me to kiss anyone, because of...what happened at the– the parties." Merlin, he was going to die. Did the other just offer him a kiss or was he feverish? Maybe he should go lie down..

Alright, so maybe post-Quidditch practice really wasn't the best time to go talk to his best friend's little brother, but Frank had never won any awards for his quick-thinking skills. Maybe it really wasn't the best time to run after that mop of dark hair that he'd know even if asleep, what with him still being in his blue-and-bronze uniform, drenched in a cocktail of sweat, water, and the nutty-smelling broom oil he'd accidentally spilt on his leg. Or maybe, given all the circumstances possible, it was the best time.
Honestly, he'd meant to go talk to Albus after what had happened to his bed in the dormitories, but the parties had so quickly taken up precedence and attention, making it impossible to get a word in edgewise about anything other than their preparation.
Crap, he was beginning to get away.
"Albus! Albuquerque! Albus Potter! Albus! It's– It's me! It's Frank Longbottom! It's Frank, slow down!"
A hand on the shoulder of the person in front of him, and he spun the body around to be greeted with the freaked out scowl–––––– that didn't belong to Albus. That wasn't Albus. That... That was a girl. "...........I am so sorry."
The Ravenclaw sheepishly released the disgruntled fifth year and continued his search.
"Erm.."
"You’re too adorable, you know that! You give me the insatiable urge to give you a stuffed animal or… hell, even kiss your dorky mug." Raising an eyebrow, dismissing the fact that Frank forgot he took every damn subject and giving his best shit-eating grin, he swore that he would probably make Frank as flustered as possible, resulting in even more amusement from him. “I heard you were a cute drunk! Thoughts on the matter?”
"––!" Dear Godric, he felt like he was about to pass out. Or faint. Whichever was manlier. Why was everything suddenly moving? "..I, uhm.. I'm not supposed to drink anymore. I'm not allowed. Or–– Or kissing people, I'm not allowed to do that, either...."
"Erm.."
Oh, hell if I know. I haven’t seen the perky little werewolf in forever. Including you, surprised you haven’t done something adorably embarrassing in a few weeks, puppy eyes.
The aforementioned eyes widened in surprise, a light flush dusting over his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. "I–– I don't–– I don't, uh, think we have the same electives.." His voice came out unnaturally hushed, as he tried to wrap his head around what the other had called him. Puppy eyes? That.. that was new. Frank wasn't sure if that was a good thing, or a bad thing.
"Erm.."
"Ha–– has anyone seen Tansy..? She was supposed to–– we.. uh, had a Herbology project together.."

Fuck. Fuck. With every word that fell from Frank’s lips, with every apology he offers forth, James could feel that tightening sensation in his chest strengthen in it’s hold, suffocating him, cutting off what little composure his inebriation had allowed him to keep. What was Frank even apologising for was what cut James the worst— The fact that the eldest Potter couldn’t understand the reasoning behind each and every ‘I’m sorry’ that Frank let out like a desperate prayer. Sorry for interupting his fun, for ruining his night? No, be sorry for not listening to James, for not believing his words when he’d thrown the excuse. Sorry for following him around, for being annoying, for— What?!
"Oh, is that what we’re doing, then? Is that what you want to do? Because I can do that, too, Frank. I can fucking do that, too. Where shall I start?"
"I’m sorry you had to drag yourself up from the fun just so you can try to share some of it with me when I don’t deserve it. I’m sorry that I ruined your night by being robbed of half of my wallet by some chick who’s probably looting my stuff while we speak. I’m sorry for dragging you into all of my hare-brained, stupid plans. I’m sorry for always getting you into trouble. I’m sorry for upsetting you right now, I’m sorry for caring about whether or not you were okay— I’m sorry.

Now its his turn to rush forward and slam the darker against the opposite wall of the corridor, following soon after to crash their lips together. The kiss was not poetic by any means; it held none of the wound up wonder of the ones shared between them earlier that night, nor any of the careful, tender brushes he'd always secretly wished to exchange with the eldest Potter. This.. this was raw, this was abrasive and bruising. In the stead of any gentle emotion, there was desperation, an aching edge that threatened to smother and stifle anything that tried to obstruct it. Frank could only hope to convey what exactly the other had left out in this way, in a way he could never force out aloud.. and if his efforts were in vain, he'd blame the alcohol that had begun to creep from his system hours ago.
"I’d like to find someone to be with. But there just…there isn’t anyone for me. I don’t know.”
"No, no, no, there's someone for everyone. Just like Filch and Mrs. Norris."
