Are there any other BL games you'd like to work on?
There are a bunch~ I'd love to do any of the Holicworks games (BeniTen, Taisho Mebiusline, Tokyo Onmyouji). I really like games with a lot of history in them †Though not BL, I'd be more than happy to work on the Haccaworks* games too~
In this project, we aimed to put together a set of the Major Arcana tarot cards, with each card featuring the protagonists of a different BL visual novel.
The result was a full deck of 22 cards each featuring a unique BL visual novel protagonist, with over 20 artists contributing.

I'm really glad people are excited for Hashihime~ It's so so good! Goodness, I've been studying for almost 20 years now... but because it was mostly self study I'm no where near fluent. I started learning in the 5th grade because a missionary came to my school to talk about his mission work in Japan and he was this old white guy who spoke fluent Japanese and I thought that was the coolest thing so I wanted to learn XD I'm actually a pretty recent otome game fan! The first one I played was Starry Sky in Summer on the PSP about 6 years ago. My first game in Japanese though... was probably Gakuen Heaven about 11 years ago... //old ^^;;
Do you use twitter? I rarely come on tumbler so I'm just wondering~ Also any good study habits you had for japanese?
I do~ its @frillyfujoshide What worked best for me to study Japanese was to translate everything I could get my hands on. I'm mostly self taught so that's what kept me most motivated~
Before manga gamer approached you did you have any other professional translation jobs?
I haven't! So I'm really glad to be getting this experience~

Hey everyone⊠so I just saw this on twitter and I hope youâre all aware that Killing Stalking is available on the Lezhin websites? I know that many more people are starting to like Killing Stalking and that they are probably coming from sites like the one mentioned above, but those sites are illegal!!
Please do not tweet Koogi saying that youâve discovered or read her manhwa on these illegal sites. This is the second time this has happened.
Is it good to tweet Koogi you love KS? Of course! This makes her very happy. Is it good to tweet her that you love KS and youâve been reading the manhwa sheâs working so hard on/her income is depending on illegally?
NO!
Koogiâs manhwa is officially licensed in English by Lezhin Comics. This means that when you read Killing Stalking on sites other than Lezhin, you are hurting Koogiâs revenue. This is why I have the official links in my description. The last thing I want to do is to hurt Koogi. The first two chapters of KS on Lezhin are free, but you have to purchase coins to read the rest. At first glance, this sucks, but read on to understand how you can get coins in a reasonable way.
Coins can be purchased starting for $3.99 which equals to 14 coins. This gives you enough for 4 chapters of KS. And if you sign up for the first time, they give you an extra 7 coins which equals to you having 21 coins. This gives you enough for 7 chapters of KS. This lasts to about a month and a half without having to purchase coins again.
PLUS, if youâre an Android user and you sign up for the Lezhin Comics Plus app, they give you 10 coins for free! Iâm not an Android user, but Iâm sure you end up with 31 coins in total if you get the 14+7 deal too. This is enough for 10 chapters of KS which is a little more than two months without having to purchase coins again.
ADDING ON TO THAT, if you like Lezhinâs Facebook page youâll be updated on their coin specials! They also WEEKLY have little coin giveaways for random users which I think is really nice of them to do.
I understand that many of you cannot purchase KS for a number of different reasons and thatâs why you use other sites. If you absolutely cannot afford to purchase coins for KS, I can understand.
But, if you can afford to purchase coins for KS, please consider Koogi.
I donât usually purchase subscriptions or anything like subscriptions unless they are deals, but I really think Lezhinâs prices are reasonable enough for me to want to do so.
Plus, Koogi is a sweetheart and I want her to be successful. AND, the thing is, Killing Stalking is licensed in English! Those other illegal sites post the translations done by Lezhin and earn money for it.
This not only hurts Koogi, but also the company and the companyâs employees and the families they support.
If you look into it, webtoons in South Korea are only just starting to regain their popularity. This means that this industry is only just starting to become profitable again.
Imagine all the hard work Koogi does and the Lezhin translators do only to not profit from it where it can be profitable. Koogi is contracted to update weekly, not monthly. I canât even think about how hard she works on each chapter.
And I donât even want to think about how she feels when she sees other illegal sites uploading her work and earning the money that she should be earning.
When I learned that I had to pay to continue reading Killing Stalking, I honestly considered dropping the series. But, I took a look at my budget and I figured out a way I could.
Iâm not telling you all who absolutely canât afford to purchase it to do this but again, if you can, please try to.

I believe this is the best way you can get Lezhin to create easier ways to earn/get coins. I wrote to another service I used and after some persistence, they worked to incorporate my suggestion. And do not message their tumblr your suggestions. You have to email them. That is the way it becomes something for them to take into consideration. I hope this helps some of you!
A BL game multimedia collab. project
Youâre invited to participate in a collaborative project hoping to bring together BLVN fans across various visual novel fanbases. The aim is to create a multi-fandom collection of fanart and fanfiction made by different users to celebrate their favourite titles.
In this collab, participants will create fanworks of their favourite BL game couples with the theme of âflowersâ (hence the title ăhanazonoă, meaning âflower garden"), all of which will be compiled together at the end
