Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dads out there, to those men who CHOSE to be a man and a dad, even if they weren't planning on it; who CHERISHED the gift of a child given to them; who MENTORED and RAISED not only their children, but their step-children, and their children's friends; who practiced PATIENCE when times were rough, instead of walking away; who LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY and never turned their backs on those who needed them, loved them, and cherished them. For those of us who are lucky enough to have a father, biological or otherwise, in our lives who loved us, lead us, raised us up and never left us "Happy Father's Day" I'm so lucky that I have not only one but two men in my life that have shown me what a TRUE father/dad really is and should be. I love my dad more than words can express, as I'm sure most of you love your's as as well, and to say that I stress at times worrying if he truly knows how I feel about him is an understatement. And now I have a husband who has shown me his relentless passion and unconditional love for his kids, adopted my -now our- daughter without a blink of his eyes, and reminds me daily how thankful he is to be a dad....what a blessing my life is.
