Yeah after some reflection I’m definitely leaving the BTD fandom. I’m no longer going to post on this blog or publicly create content relating to BTD.

I’m sickened both by gato’s and the fandom’s response to the s****b***y situation. It’s just kinda been swept under the rug and people just… conveniently forgot or don’t care. It’s disgusting. I’m not looking to stir up drama I really don’t care anymore, if you want to support ableists that’s on you. Send me all the death threats you want bc I’m not logging into this account again.

I still love the BTD storyline and characters and will privately create content for my friends and talk about it if you want.

Its NOT okay to put a TRAUMA DISORDER in your DNI. Especially when thats the only other thing in your DNI? Its like if i put “PTSD DNI” in my bio. They were mutuals with me, a system, and my fiance, a system, by the way. So yay! I loved seeing that on my dash. /sarc

Imagine thinking this is something to make light of and be a dick over instead of even trying to understand why you might be in the wrong. The lack of maturity and conflict resolution skills is shocking me so much... It's just not something I expect from adults in an adult community. This is exhausting, I'm begging for any self reflection.

Equating every single person with a disorder with their disorder is harmful and stigmatising. It's not so much the DNI as it is you feeling like it's right and moral to treat any marginalized people group as a conglomerate who are bad because of what makes them marginalized. That is ableism. That is why it's bad to put a minority in your 'DNI'.
