Farewell
This is probably going to be my last post here. I'm not really using Tumblr anymore these days, if not for reading rare updates by @itswalky, posting stuff from my Instagram, or very occasionally reblogging something. It's no secret that changes to this platform have made it less and less interesting, and driven away a large part of its user base. For me, the last straw might be that today I cannot find anything but sponsored and recommended posts in my dashboard. I'll wait and see if this is some sort of glitch, or if there's a way to modify this behavior (i.e., substantially reduce the amount of recommendations and/or snooze them Instagram-style). If not, I'm uninstalling the app for good. I might start a new blog on a different platform (Medium, maybe?) if and when I'll have more time and something else to share.
