Into Space
I stare into space I see the colours on your face I reach out to touch you I feel your warmth and I start to miss you The stars in the sky, they don’t shine as bright As the light that I see in your eyes Sometimes this world can feel so tight But I know I’ll be alright, with you by my side The Sun goes down, it is time for the Moon To gleam in the night She brings her shadows that follow me through the night but I am not afraid, I am not in fright For I have you in my mind and you’re fighting the good fight I look up in the night sky and I think about the planets How they are so close yet so far apart Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Mars Aren’t we as such ? One day, we’ll belong to the sky We’ll take our rightful place among the stars We’ll shine together, and shine so bright I love you through and through, moon night and starlight
