#klaus has just continually been open and concerned every time he encounters caroline since he left MF #anything he can offer to help ease her emotional burden #whether it’s giving her space or acknowledging the monumental importance of her mum’s presence and now absence in her life #because he can offer her the trips the jewellry the life #but she’s already said she doesn’t need those #so the only thing he can offer is *him* #and tbh klaus knows that he isn’t too well-practiced in being empathetic or consoling but with caroline he tries to bare as much as he can #knowing that her struggle is always others before self #reminding her that it’s alright to want things for yourself and allow yourself to feel these insecurities and distress #he suggests without pushing or manipulating yet you sense the amount of yearning behind his every word hoping that it’s enough #and you know what caroline never tells him that it’s not enough #in fact she’s maybe realising more and more that he is worth seeking out when everything in her life is falling apart ( @earmole)
