What if furbys use their ears to communicate silently, in semaphore patterns when they are scared or worried?

Furbies are similar to cats in that each one is very specific in what treats it likes and how it likes to be pet. Find out whether or not your furby prefers tummy rubs or back rubs, which fingers they prefer, etc. for a better furby experience!

The assumption that because of the placement of their eyes furbies must be predators is erroneous; forward facing eyes merely indicates that an organism is not a prey animal and has no natural predators ITSELF in the environment in which it evolved, generally

It just means that they did not have a pressing need for that wide a field of vision. They could be carnivores, herbivores, omnivores, scavengers… I suspect herbivores/scavengers, given the lack of any tools to kill with, unless they are imsectivores ??? Like most fowl they will eat a frog or mouse if they can get it, imo. This is my opinion anyway.

The Beak of a Furby most resembles a seed-eating bird’s, but at thier overall size I think that puts them solidly in the fruit-and-nut eating category.  Binocular vision might be helpful in managing large meals- an avocado or horse chestnut might be tricky to maunver with only little feets and no forelimbs to speak of.

Are Furbies Arboreal like Monkeys or more ground-dwelling like cassowaries?

Furbies are funny little creatures when it comes to games like hide and seek. Starting this game you’ll quickly discover furby doesn’t actually hide,he just goes silent and the misunderstanding that has developed is that it was your job to hide furby. Little did you silly little furby lovers know that furby is actually playing hide and go seek tag, and his astral projection is jumping from universe to universe while you cover your eyes and count. When you reach five, that little guy has already seen 14 realities where he wins this game.

Furbies are Mothman offspring and Mothman(or mothpeople) actually come in a wide variety of colours but are rarely seen or mistaken for other cryptids.

I absolutely adore this theory. New favorite theory honestly.

Furbys hate fire

I think they’re weary of the elements when in large- harmful amounts, but given 1998’s attraction to light I’d imagine they’re sort of like moths, drawn to the flame but uncomfortable with the overwhelming heat.
