Olivia, there's a scene with you and Jake in your new place, where he's moved you in. There's sort of a fight and, that one, I've gathered was a tough one.

Well, it was interesting because we had been shooting for a bit by then, but we had just the idea that this would be a point in which the characters would have some sort of squabble, and there was no real idea of how big it would be, how small. I actually thought that would be the scene where we would finally kiss. So I was thinking like "this scene is the kissing scene" and I was kind of in there, cause I felt like there was all this tension and this would be when it finally released. The director had a completely different idea, the other actor had a completely different idea, so it became us actually fighting with each other and just digging at each other in ways that we had already figured each other out (...) and we just went for it. It became sort of a nasty fight and it got to us.

I was a casting assistant, so I’ve brought coffee to almost everyone I’ve now worked with. (Laughs.) But I started out slowly and did TV and did movies, some big, some small. And it’s funny, I was telling Kathryn just now that I’ve been working for 12 years professionally, but I feel like I just started. That’s a weird thing that can happen in this business.
