GEARS, I think we should take our line up a little bit more on the track, since we are always like, "grab whatever is there for the lolz". So here I thought maybe we should keep a track of everyone's planned tank lines, and then create teams in accordance to the tanks you chose. each team will be dedicated to a certain task //Scouting, Counterscouting, tanking, sniping and whatnot, anyways it wouldn't hurt to see what everyone has in plans to make a better tactic would it? Format: Tanker In Game Name Tier 6 Main Tank Tier 8 Main Tank Tier 10 Main Tank Why you choose these Tanks (optional but prefer to include this) doesn't matter if you have like 2 or 3 faves of that tier we'll just see what role should everyone get

LION PACK?

I call this the Lion Pack because well I don't really know what's better call on it, this is our second mode of tactics, I want our Clan members to choose whether we stick to Lion or to Wolf, the Concept is the Same, we use our Mobility to get to somewhere and kill an isolated target, Difference? Armor, the Lion Pack Focuses on having a Balance of Armor and Speed, we might not be able to quickly get there and swarm like the Wolf Pack but this will forgive more Mistake (read Newbie Friendly) and we still have the Speed to gain the Flexible, attack and Defense so lets get started with what tanks do I consider Preferred in this mode of Tactics. Tier 6:

Preferred: KV-85 - Yes KV-85, despite the Nerfs it got, its still pretty fast moving for a HT, and that is what we're trying to take in Lion Pack, a Fast Moving tank with Armor, KV-85 fit that Bill VK 36.01 (H) - this Heavy is another one that has decent mobility for a Heavy, the alpha isn't lousy for a Tier 6 too, so we got another balanced Tank Right here Cromwell - of course Cromwell is still very much useable, Speed is still key of the Lion Pack we just added armor and are trying to be sure the tanks we use can go from place to place T-34-85 - Same with Cromwell, most of what's useable in Wolf Pack are Useable in Lion Pack, we want the good firepower this thing brings M18 Hellcat - to complete the Trinity of Cromwell - T-34-85 - Hellcat, these 3 are always key in tier 6 Packs T37 - we still have that good Survival Scout, no need say more. VK 30.01(P) - this MT packs 220 a shot, at tier 6 this demands respect for a MT Acceptable: Type 58 - well having to expose yourself whenever you fire is a pain, otherwise this would've been up there 59-16 - still our Textbook case of Scout AMX 12t - Alternative Autoloader Scout T21 - also Alternative Autoloader Scout In Lion Pack, we don't want Speedster peashooters, except perhaps the Cromwell as its DPM is Decent and the Mobility is just tad good Tier 8: Preferred: 110 - When it comes to Tier 8, there are these Medium Heavy Hybrids quite often, and this is what we want in a Lion Pack, they have the Armor to Survive, Big Guns, and enough Speed to get around and 110 happens to be quite good in all 3 IS-3 - Same Case with 110, we love these things in a Lion Pack Tiger II - as you might have noticed the top 3 are all quite Major HTs in the Tier 8, well why? cause we'll be brawling alot, we're going to crash in the isolated enemy and make it sure it can't escape us T69 - this one's autoloader always demands respect, its a prime Damage Dealer AMX 50 100 - Prime Tier 8 Autoloader, no need to say more on this T-54 Light - the Light Weight Version of the T-54 is still good here, the good armor and speed makes it a primary Scout in the Lion Pack Acceptable: WZ-132 - WZ-132 is a premium Camo Scout with its only lack being gun, as long as its a scouting duty, this do that well AMX 13 90 - another Dedicated Scout in this mode except, Better Gun than the WZ-132, we ofcourse welcome autoloaders T32 - its still suitable and its probably a bit more mobile than the Tiger II but why is it down here, well there's the pen problems M26 Pershing - we still like this platform that gets anywhere with ease, but the problem is that it doesn't have enough pen Rhm. Borsig Wft. - What I'd call Perfect Fire Support, 750 damage and enough speed to relocate, if only it has a bit more armor or more speed I'd Prefer this but by then this thing would be too OP, we're not too focused on being Speedsters now so this thing is perfect Second Line Shooter Behind the Brawlers

So, Answer this thread, do we go for Lion Pack? where we will use Machines with only Adequate Speed but have the Weight, Armor and Firepower to put high Pressure? or do we go for Wolf Pack? where we use hyper Mobile Vehicles, relying on swarming and autoloaders to do damage and relying on our mobility to strike from anywhere.

Edit: 

I find Panther II and Indien Panzer quite suitable too, currently still studying their Stats, I'm not sure, but they could be acceptable, both are generalist tanks with ok mobility but low alpha guns, the DPM is great though.

Should we go Wolf Pack?

Seeing our Skirmishes, it had been leading me to think perhaps the more offensive we do things, the more likely we win, after all they'll have to fight on our terms! so I was thinking perhaps we should gear towards a Mobile Force for our Skirmishes and other Clan Related Battles.

For the new ones who doesn't know what Wolf Pack is, its basically a Tactic used for a Very Mobile force to crush separated Smaller forces, the Pack sticks together and scouts for an Isolated Target, once the Pack has a Target they swarm towards the target and quickly dispose it. now lets get to the Formation: for Tier 6 I think we'd prefer 2 Scouts and 5 Mediums/Hellcats because Hellcats are Turreted and just tad fast enough for Tier 8: 2~3 Scouts and then 7~8 Mediums

Generally, we don't want a Non-Turreted Tank Destroyer because Packing is Moving a lot. we also don't want Heavies Generally.

Preferred Tanks for each Division:

Tier 6:

Preferred: Cromwell - Good Mobility but Peashooter, but its DPM is good enough T-34-85 - Good Alpha coupled with Good Mobility, count this as most Preferred Tank Hellcat - Turreted TD with high Firepower and High Mobility, its simply tad good T37 - a Light Tank with very High HP, good survival ability to ensure the team spots their next Target VK 30.01(P) - of all the seemingly generic VK, this thing is different, other VKs had 135 damage, this? 220, the damage gave it a good place

Acceptable: Type 58 - would've been Preferred if not for the lack of depression that it can't shoot without being open to fire, but that's small issue when the pack works, this can easily be a Preferred Tank if situation allows. VK 30.02(M) and VK 30.01(D) - these two are non-distinct, there's good gun, and ok mobility, its like a German Cromwell, but Cromwell is just so much more Mobile. 59-16 - this is what a textbook scout is, equip this with autoloaders in skirmish, 88mm pen is enough in most cases especially that this thing is so good at Flanking it'll pump out the Damage easily. T21 - In Wolf Packs, Autoloaders are always welcome since we're trying to kill the isolated target ASAP, and this is an autoloader, and also a scout, but the T37 just had more Survival Ability. AMX 12t - Decent Autoloader, ok Scout, not much goes wrong in this cept its sluggish for a Light Tank VK 28.01 - Looks quite Good as a Mobile Derp but just that wasn't that good enough, but there's the bonus of easily detracking the pack's Target which is nice. KV-85 - the old KV-1S would've easily made it to Preferred but oh well, the KV-85 is actually quite a push, for a Pack I would really avoid taking this tank along unless I have to, there's ok Mobility but this tank is not really much of a threat, perhaps when we need a Slightly Thicker Steel compared to the Rest of the Pack?

Tier 8:

Preferred:

T-54 Light - This is Basically as the name says, the Legendary T-54 in Lightweight, I simply see nothing wrong in this tank. T69 - I can't really Stop emphasizing how nice would it be to have Autoloaders to finish off enemies fast in a Pack, and T69 fits that Bill! AMX 50 100 - Heavy? yeah, Heavy that's as fast as a Medium and carries an Autoloader Capable of 1 Clipping, screw them right? RU 251 - 80 KMPH that just screams annoy your enemy to death lol AMX 13 90 - Yes another quick moving Autoloaders, we want these things yeah, we're only limiting Light Tanks due to their low HP so yeah.

Acceptable: WZ-132 - Fast and Reliable, except for the Gun, but this is a good Tank for Pack. Panther II - This thing have Enough Firepower and Enough Mobility to go with the Pack but everything is a bit on the Low Side so its not much.  also Pen issues M26 Pershing - if not for the imminent Pen Problems I'd put it in the Preferred but yeah, there's a bit of a penetration problem but its still quite good. T49 - Derps aren't really all that Reliable but this thing brings that big Gun Quickly into anywhere so that's worth a note. STA-1 - I don't really like bringing a sluggish big chunk of Butter to the fight but this one can abuse terrain a lot and the Mobility is ok, it can do to a limit what a Pack needs. IS-3 - yes another Heavy, this one is Fast for a heavy but still Heavy Speed, I'd like these Minimized but the Firepower it Brings just say "yes" Tiger II - same case with IS-3 110 - also same case with IS-3

as per Details on the new Clan war Campaign, we seem to be able to join the first phase, but I'd like us to rush in to tier 8 for second phase if we can manage, Roll Out! get tier 8 before Nov 21 guys

Posting Format

as I noticed with Tumblr, it doesn't actually allow you to post comments to a blog topic, which makes several things Limited, however if we add a question mark in our Blog Title a check box saying "Let People Answer This" appears, when you check this you allow people to answer on your blog. So as a general guideline, if you post a topic, use a Question as our Topic like "What do you think of this Clan Strategy?" or "any Line do we Recommend in this Clan?" etc. The only Limitation is that, you can only ask 2 questions a day in Tumblr, I don't really see much need to keep posting too much in either case.
