Josh felt like he was going to have to work hard to stay in this school, how many times could he get kicked out of a school just for being irresponsible? His parents would kill him if he did that. He laughed, “And do you think I am like all these guys out there. Well then I guess you should feel lucky and special to be invited to a school dance especially by the new guy. Screw Danni, she sounds like a bitch and she doesn’t deserve the popularity at this school.” He laughed a little and shrugged, “Well that attitude is something I like.” He laughed a little and nodded, “I am following you my friend don’t you worry.”

Georgia stood there infront of the new guy, she never had the attention from others so she didn’t understand why this guy was giving her all the attention in the world and it confused her that this guy was giving her any kind of attention after all she felt lonely for so long and wanted someone and now she was finally feeling herself, it felt weird for someone to give her some kind of attention. “Well I don’t know you so who knows, you could be that kind of guy. Well I look forward to this dance then to show you off to the rest of the school.” He sighed looking down for a moment, “She is a bitch but is it worth thinking about?” She sighed and nodded, “Okay this way, we havel ockers, boys is that side girls is this side. I know weird right?”

Joshua was used to the first day of a new school making friends but there was something about this girl that he didn’t want to just make friends with her, but by the way things were already, he figured that she had probably had a complicate life so far or something which didn’t bother him. He laughed, “Well I am not most guys so you should be happy about that. Well I am sure whatever you dress up in, you will look beautiful and be the prettiest girl there. Why wouldn’t I want to be seen with you? I’m guessing no one has ever asked you to a dance before? Well I am glad that you will accept this invitation.” He smiled looking at her and as the girl walked away, “Oh right, so just stupid yet you let it carry on?” He asked raising his eyebrows for a moment before laughing a little, “Oh you think so? Well thank you.” He smiled, “Should we get going with this tour?”

Georgia was used to things not going her way this year, she had fucked a lot of things up recently like her first kiss and first time and she knew people knew about it. She was a little confused why this guy was making the effort to talk to her right now, espcially on his first day at the school, did he really want to waste his time talking to a nobody? She laughed a little and nodded, “That’s what all guys say to be honest but if you say it for now I will believe it. Well clearly not no, I am not usually the girls people want to be seen with, but Danni has been able to make that possible around the school.” She stated before laughing a little, “You clearly don’t understand high school, why should I be bothered to stop her from being a child. If that’s how she wants to act she can, I don’t need to care.” She stated and nodded, “Right the tour, yeah sure. Follow me.”

Josh stood there glancing at the girl t was his first day at the school but already he was happy to be spending it talking to this girl and maybe it could be someone he actually fell for. He stood there putting a hand through his messy hair before looking at her and nodded “Yes sweetheart. And actually no. I rarely do.” He admitted he wasn’t about getting the girls he genuinely believed that he should wait until he actually like the girl. As he stood there he nodded, “Yes I am, why does that seem so shocking to you? Wait really? I am asking not to just so I won’t be stag. I am asking because I actually want to go with you. I would love to be seen as your date to the formal.” He admitted maybe he was being straight forward but he didn’t want to be the guy playing games but he could tell by her reactions that either she hadn’t experienced anything like this or she’s been hurt before. He looked at her in shock, “Evidently. Well why not?”

Georgia was standing there staring at the good looking guy who had just come to her, she said she was staying away from guys, she wasn’t sure why she was attracted to the guy and she hated it because she could see herself falling for a guy like him. She laughed, “Are you serious? Most guys do.” She stated laughing a little looking at him for a moment shaking her head, “No, well actually yes it does. Now I have to dress up and find a nice dress. I mean I guess I feel lucky that you would want to be seen as my date. Well in that case, i accept and would love to be your date.” She stated looking down before back over at him and smiled as she tucked her hair behind her ear before she watched Danni walk away and she laughed a little, “Just stupid petty drama, we’ve been at it for years.” She shrugged for a moment looking at him, “Damn you have beautiful eyes.” She stated looking over at him.

Josh was still standing there looking over at the pretty brown eyed girl and why she couldn’t actually believe she was beautiful was something he would never understand. “Well get used to it sweetheart, you’d be surprised how many people would actually think you’re beautiful and if they don’t then they are blind as a bat.” He sighed looking at her and nodded, “Well glad that you don’t think my name is boring then.” He laughed a little and nodded, “Fair point well made.” He said as he saw the poster for the winter formal, “Oh so the formal, are you going? I mean I probably should so I don’t seem like a loser as soon as I start this school and if you’re going would you like to go with me?”

Georgia looked over at the girl who was standing there who kept looking at her as she put a hand through her hair, yes she was attracted to him, something about him made her smile but the problem with this was she was trying not to fall for another guy. “Sweetheart? Do you use these words on every girl?” She laughed a little looking over at him for a moment and nodded as they started to walk and she pointed places out before she heard his words, “Wait you’re asking me to winter formal? I wasn’t going to go, kind of don’t see the point in it. But if you’re going, so you don’t go stag, I will go to the winter formal with you.” She smiled looking up at him before she saw Dannie as he heard the girls words and sighed before walking past, “Oh that’s Dannie, we don’t exactly get along.”

Josh was standing there opposite the girl, how he could be interested when he just met the girl he didn’t understand because he had just got to the school but maybe it’ll make him actually get to stay at this school. He looked at her for a moment shook her head, “It’s not bad at all that you blush at all, it actually makes you look more beautiful then you already are. You should!” He stated before looking over at her and nodded, “Such a nice name. Oh mine is Josh. As boring as that it.” He laughed a little and nodded, “Oh so you’re saying this school is kind of boring? Well I would really appreciate that.” He smiled looking at her. 

Georgia stood there putting a hand through her hair for a moment as she held on to her bag for a moment, she kept it close to her at all times and she tried her hardest to stop thinking about the past. She laughed a little looking over at him, “It really is a bad thing, I am so not used to blushing and wished I didn’t have to blush at everything right now.” She sighed looking over at him for a moment  and nodded, “Well thank you. Nice to meet you Josh, it’s not boring. My best friend James’s name is boring.” She laughed a little looking at him, “Of course it is, it’s a high school. But you’re welcome.”

Josh was sure he wouldn’t want to stay at this school like he had never wanted to stay at other schools, but the difference was he wasn’t an asshole he just didn’t like school. But this girl was making him feel a little different about that. As he stood there ad saw her play with her hair, he noticed how cute she actually was and it made him smile before laughing a little, “Oh you’re that easy to make blush? Yes Beautiful. Do you doubt that about yourself?” He asked, he was never a player, if he found himself interested in a girl he was loyal to that and although he didn’t even know the girls name, he knew he was interested in her. “You got a name gorgeous? Well maybe just being shown around this place.”

Georgia stood there looking over at the guy in front of her face, the week of winter formal a new and handsome and good looking guy turns u and is talking to her She knew  she shouldn’t think that because the likely hood of him actually being interested in her is slim and she knew that and she didn’t need to get excited for something again like she used to. She looked down or a moment before looking back up at the guy who was standing there biting her lip, “I’m sorry, it it bad that I blush? Maybe, I mean I don’t usually feel beautiful.” She stated putting a hand through her long black hair. She stated looking over at him and nodded, “Oh My name, is Georgia and yours is?” She stated trying not to blush again because it wasn’t a good thing that she kept blushing “I can help, there’s not much to see but I can be your guide if you like.”

Josh had just moved to New York with his family and he wasn’t quite sure if it was the right thing at first because he knew he would miss his old mates but his dads new job was definitely more important. So he walked down the halls of Bridget High, his new high school, he had no clue what to expect from it, school was not his thing and he hated it but he also knew coming just before a winter formal was the bad idea to start a new school because he was already being told he had to go, so he needed to find a way of either getting out or trying to go with someone at the end of the week. Once he had got his timetable, he walked down the hall to his lockers which was bright blue and opposite the girls lockers. He noticed a girl standing there with a blonde girl and his eye was set on the brunette standing there at the locker and he couldn’t help but feel a connection straight away. He was quite smooth when it comes to the ladies, so he thought he would make the effort to go over to her and talk to her. As he made it to her he smiled, “Well Hello there beautiful, fancy lending the new guy a hand?” 

Georgia had made a mess of her life right now, it wasn’t that she didn’t know how to handle it, she did, she pretty much just tried to ignore her problem with Drew over the time that it had happened and the person from the bar she had slept with, it was playing her mind, and she was an idiot to think everything would work out the way she wanted it to. She stood there with Brianna her best friend, the person who knew her way to well. Seeing her with James the guy she always had a crush on actually made her happy, it gave her hope that there was something still there for her. As she stood there and laughed at their conversation, he saw the new guy walk in and her eyes were glanced right out there over at him, he was attractive, dreamy and very just not hard to look at. As soon as she realized he was coming over she stopped staring. She sighed looking down, there was no way this guy was interested in her. As she stood there, she put her hand through her hand through her hair, “Beautiful?” She said quietly whilst blushing, “I mean yeah of course I can lend you a hand. What do you need healp with?”
