The only thing you can’t see is the primary school children behind the van. The solution is to ban pavement parking because people are incapable of thinking of others.
BT van parked totally on the pavement today, no respect for pedestrians. Why choose to block the pavement not the wide road?
tipper trouble
After the tragic accident in Bath with a tripper truck and the recent upping of the rules for tipper trucks in London I though I would mention a recent incident with a tipper driver at a pedestrian crossing. I was was waiting to cross at a zebra crossing and there was a tripper driver approaching, I waited for him to stop and he made no effort to slow or stop and he was doing more than the 30mph limit. I followed him to the building site round the corner and asked why he did not stop, he said that he didn't need to stop unless I was on the crossing, but he said that would be stupid as he would run me down as he could not stop a tipper fully laden with that distance.
Is it not surprising these trucks are killing people, certainly not with people like that behind the wheel. Should he be driving at above the speed limit and unable to stop within the required distance? I doubt it.
Parked (again) well into the middle of the pavement on a corner of traffic lights, leaving people walking around it on the ice.
Stocksbridge market traders blocking the pavement on a pedestrian crossing? why don't you leave it there all morning, oh sorry you do already.
nice wide pavement for walking down, oh sorry Clayton Project Engineering Limited, you thought it was for you to park on. Can you see that 20mph sign its because its in a schools zone.
Ford Lane, site of the new supermarket, parking has been provided but ignored. The road is used by steel works lorries and construction traffic as you can see turning on the end so not safe to walk down.
not one but 2 people that think they should park where people walk.
double yellow, pavement parking, blind bend. no problem to him, nothing is more important that delivering a chinese takeaway.
Sheffield, Kelham Island, museum - A M Services plumbing and heating, parked on a pavement with textured paving for crossing do people honestly think that its not a problem? or do they just not care?
yes I want to walk into the road, cheers.
does that look like a car park? no its a pavement.
another school another idiot in a Land Rover parked on the pavement and some 'friends' behind.
lucky I wanted to walk down the road - not.
we can just about fit down there but only if we turn sideways and duck under the wing mirror.
outside a school, children, buggies, toddlers. Do they give monkies - no.
