Summary:You and a Rob are looking forward to starting your life together, but will your relationship still be perfect when you find yourselves in the apocalypse?

Characters: Rob Benedict x Reader

Tiptoeing across the floor, you jumped onto the bed and leaned over your boyfriend who was still fast asleep. 

“It’s time to wake up,” you purred playfully in his ear.

He responded with a groan, burying his face in the pillow.

“Come on Mister, you need to get up.” 

Nuzzling his cheek with your nose, you started placing peppered kisses over his shoulder and neck

“Come on my handsome man,” you whispered, running your fingers through his hair and playing with his curls. “I’ll make it worth your while if you get up.”

“My god woman, you are relentless,” he replied with another moan. Flipping over onto his back he put his arm around you, looking up at you with tired eyes. “Baby I love ya but I need to get my rest if I have any hopes of meeting your sexual standards.”

“Awe, Robbie. What makes you think you’re meeting them now?”

“Ohh,” he teased with a chuckle. “Is that so?”

Placing your lips on his, you climbed on top of him, legs straddling his sides. Hips rocking back and forth, fingers raking and tugging through his hair, you waited to pump the breaks until you knew you had him riled up.

“Well I better get going,” you whispered, pulling back to look at him. “I don’t want to be late.”

Flashing him a grin, you stood from the bed and walked into the bathroom to begin getting ready for the day.

“You know I still don’t understand what a guy like me did to get a girl like you,” he called out. 

“I still think you put something in my drinks that night,” you yelled back.

“I’m serious Y/N. What does a guy like me have to offer a girl like you? You have so much ahead of you and your talented and--”

As he started to trail off, you slipped on your shirt and walked back out into your room to find him sitting up against the wall with his head back and eyes closed like he did when he would wake up with a headache.

“Are we having a bad day?” you asked, starting to button your shirt. “Hmm Mister?”

Eyes landing on you, he threw his hands up in frustration. “Seriously! Look at you Y/N! Did you come out here like that just to make things hard on me? You should not be this hot! I am going to go old and grey and you will still be hot.”

“Look at you!” you fired back. Setting down beside him on the edge of the bed, you rubbed your hand up and down his leg. “Baby even when you do eventually go grey you won’t ever be old. Besides you’re only seven years older than me, that’s nothing. And it means we have plenty ahead of us.”

“You mean like a house and a dog? Maybe a couple kids running around?”

This idea made you smile. “Yes. Exactly.”

“So that means you would be okay with us finding a place of our own?”

“You mean a place with a closet for your stuff so you wouldn’t be living out of a suitcase on my bedroom floor anymore?”

He gave you a nod. “You think you would like that?”

“I would love that,” you replied, still grinning like a fool.

“Alright. You got it beautiful. I guess you better tell Karen it’s time to start looking for another roommate then.”

Lunging forward, you planted a sweet kiss on his lips, then as you went to pull back you noticed the time. You were well on your way to being late for work.

“I need to get going or I am going to be in big trouble,” you told him. “And if you wait too much longer you will be too.”

You guys did your best to get ready for the day but it definitely wasn’t easy. Soon you were finally able to get in your cars and go in your perspective directions. Once you arrived at the office you were able to slip in unnoticed, even though you were a couple minutes late. Luckily your boss also had a habit of being late.

“Well, well, well. Look who decided to join us.”

Looking up from your computer you saw your friend standing in the doorway with two cups of coffee in her hands.

“Yeaahhh,” you replied with a grimace. 

“Did someone have a hard time getting out of bed this morning?” she asked, wiggling her eyebrows at you.

You started to laugh. “When have I made it on time to anything since I met him? I swear to God that man is going to be the death of me.”

“Awe, aren’t you two just the most adorable couple.”

Walking over she handed you a coffee which you immediately took a sip of as she sat down across from you.

“Speaking of being cute, he asked me to move in with him today. He wants us to get a place together.”

“Did you say yes?” she asked.

“Of course I said yes.”

“You guys are going to be engaged within the year,” she stated with a chuckle.

“We’re definitely going to have a dog by then. Rob really wants a dog so I’m sure we’ll be getting one as soon as we find a place.”

Shooting up from her chair she flashed you a smile. “It looks like I have some online shopping to do then. You know I’m going to have to get you guys the best house warming present ever.” 

“Booze! Lots and lots of booze!” you called out as she walked away.

Your day was busy. Vetting new hires and heading up training sessions. Ordering new equipment and handling accounts. Whatever free time you had you were searching the internet for a home for you and Rob. Before you knew it the day was finally coming to it’s end and all you could think about was getting home to Rob. Just then your phone started buzzing. He always seemed to be thinking of you at the same time you were thinking about him.

“Hello my love,” you said into the phone.

“And hello to you as well my darling,” he replied. “Are you done for the day?”

“I am indeed.”

“What do you think? Should I pick us up some dinner on the way home?”

“Yes please. And I was thinking while we ate, we could look at some houses.”

“Oh really?”

You could practically see the smirk on his face.

“I’ve actually been looking at houses all day,” you said, proudly.

“Me too Y/N. Now get your pretty ass home so I can ply you with wine and take advantage of you.”

“You talk a big game Mr. Benedict, but can you deliver?”

“You’re right Y/N I’m more of a cuddler than a take you roughly from behind kind of person.”

“Yes Robbie you are right. I’ll see you back at home, baby.”

“See you later. I love you.”

“I love you too.”

Hanging up the phone, you locked down your computer and grabbed your stuff, but as you headed through the lobby and towards the front door you were stopped.

“Hey Y/N?” The secretary called out. “Did you happen to hear from Janey today?”

“No. I figured she had just taken one of her vacation days.”

“Boss says no. She thought maybe Janey had called in sick but I never heard from her. It looks like she just didn’t show.”

“I guess we’ll find out tomorrow,” you replied, rolling your eyes. “Is there anything else you need from me?”

She shook her head and you left and headed out to your car. Pulling out of the parking lot you turned right just like you always did and started driving towards home. You liked taking the backroads home to avoid that rush hour traffic that cluttered up the freeway. That’s why you found it so strange, when you came around the corner and found yourself at a dead halt behind a pile up. The red flashing lights a few cars ahead signaled what had to be some sort of accident. Then the waiting began. You waited, and waited, and waited. You waited so long you were pretty sure you had listened to every station on the radio at least once.

“This is a mandatory message from the state of Washington.”

Letting out a growl you continued searching the channels.

“Please stand by. This is a mandatory message from the state of Washington.”

Soon every single station had been taken over. 

“This is Sonny Sheradon from your local news channel eight bringing you the latest update on a new strain of flu that has made its first appearance in our county.”

That’s when your phone suddenly started to ring.

“Y/N? Where are you?” Rob asked as soon as you picked up.

“Oh yeah, sorry, I was just getting ready to call you. I’m stuck in traffic. It looks like some sort of accident.”

“Are you able to pull off somewhere? Do you want me to come and get you?”

“No I’m pretty boxed in, Robbie. It shouldn’t be too much longer though.”

“Okay baby. Well, I got dinner. I’ll keep it warm for you till you get here.”

“Oh! Hey! We’re starting to move!” you exclaimed. “I’ll be home soon.”

Putting the car in drive, you slowly sneaked past the ambulance and police cars. That’s when you saw the covered body in the back of the ambulance. It wasn’t a car accident that had tied up the traffic but something else. It caught your attention but only for a brief second because you shrugged it off shortly over and continued your drive home as if it were any other day.

Murmurs

Summary: They whisper but they don’t know what it’s like

Another one word writing prompt.

Characters: For this one I am going let you decide who you want it to be about. 

Warnings: talk of death

Everywhere you would go, you were followed. The grocery store where you went for your late night cravings. The couple days that you had actually been able to drag yourself to work. Even the movie theater where you had first met. It didn’t matter if you couldn’t make it more than a couple feet into the lobby, they were still there. The murmurs. 

“Why doesn’t she just move on?” 

“I know someone who works with her, and they said she’s gone crazy.”

“I heard someone say he died in her arms. It traumatized the poor thing.”

They were always so loud. You could hear every whisper like it was being blared through a megaphone. You could feel their eyes, burning holes straight through you. Maybe they weren’t actually trying to be subtle at all. Maybe they thought you were so crazy that you couldn’t hear them. 

Of course there was the chance that you actually were going crazy. Sometimes you wondered. That could be the only logical explanation for the way you had been acting since that night. Would a sane person go days without eating? Would a sane person walk home in a thunderstorm just because they are afraid of getting in the car and hearing a song that would remind them of their dead husband?

The truth was you were just taking it day by day because you had no idea what else to do. Maybe one day you would walk by that coffee shop where you went the morning after your first night together and actually be able to order that latte without bursting into tears at the sight of the table you always sat at. Maybe one day you will be able to ignore the murmurs and side eyes that followed you every move you made. Either that or the day will come when you turn around and tell that nosy neighbor exactly what she wants to hear. 

“Yes Susan I know I look like a homeless person wearing the same sweatpants I’ve worn this whole week.”

“I’m sorry if I’m too busy grieving over the fact that I lost the love of my life to come to your stupid, weekly barbeques.”

“Oh and by the way he didn’t die in my arms, but feel free to tell me how it’s going to be any easier for me to move on since he was already gone by the time I got home.”

Today though? Today you were going to feel as bad as you wanted. You were going to walk around like a ghost. You were going to let them whisper about you behind your back. More importantly it was a day where you were going to go visit that stone and let him know that you were nowhere close to being ready to move on. He meant more to you than anything and what you had was not something you would just get over.

The Christmas Story

Characters: Rob Benedict x Reader

Summary: “Somebody waits for you, kiss him once for me.” Your romantic Christmas Eve celebration is delayed when your little one has trouble falling asleep.

Warnings: So much fluff it’s sickening. Some suggestive content

“Alright baby, it’s sleepy time.” 

Placing your one year old son down in his crib, you looked down and smiled. He looked so warm and comfy in his footed Christmas pajamas. More importantly you were happy because with both of your children tucked in bed, you and your husband would be able to start on your own Christmas Eve Celebration. 

“Mommy!” 

The small voice coming down the hallway, signaled you would not be starting your romantic Christmas eve as soon as planned.

“Mommy! Will you tell me a story?”

Pulling the door shut behind you, you padded down the hallway. Peeking around the corner, hoping you would find your daughter drifting back to sleep. Instead you found her rolling back and forth across the bed. 

“Excuse me miss!” As soon as she saw you coming through the door, she let out a squeal, before burrowing under her comforter to hide. “Boy I guess someone doesn’t want Santa to come since she won’t fall asleep.”

“No! No! I’m sorry,” she pleaded, throwing back the covers. “Please tell Santa to still come.”

Letting out a laugh, you sat down on the edge of the bed and began tucking the blankets back in around her. “Daddy told me he already read you a story and that you were fast asleep, so why are you still up?”

“Daddy tells funny stories and sings songs, but you tell fairy tales.” 

Looking up at you she batted her long eyelashes. Those sweet, baby blues she inherited from her father, having ten times the effect.

“Alright,” you warned, raising your index finger at her. “One Christmas story and you have to get back to bed.”

She nodded in agreement.

“Okay,” you began. “Once upon a time...”

It was the coldest night of the year. The weather channel said to brace for the storm of the decade, but for a reckless teenager experiencing her first taste of freedom, you weren’t about to let a perfectly good opportunity go to waste. Luckily, it seemed like your best friend had been watching for you because as soon as you stepped onto that front porch she pulled you through the front door and stripped off your coat before placing a plastic cup in your hand.

“Y/n this is it!” You could tell she had already had a few drinks in her. “Y/n this is your first college party! You don’t have to worry about hiding your hangover from your parents in the morning. Oh! You can meet someone and actually take him home with you!”

Soon she was on the sofa, making out with her boyfriend while you walked around her parents mansion looking for a quiet corner to hide away in. You were still new to the whole college scene and if you were being honest the large group of college students that were always around, still made you nervous. Finally you found an unoccupied window bench in her father’s den where you sat and watched the snow start falling through the window.

“Well would you look at that,” you heard a voice say from behind you. “It’s a famous Sarah Hale party and you are still the only one not dancing with the frat guys.”

You recognized that voice and looked up just in time to see the owner of that voice sit down beside you.

“Says the one guy who is not out there dancing with the drunk frat groupies,” you teased.

“I’m not in a fraternity so I technically have no claim on the frat groupies.”

You started to laugh. “How are you doing, Robbie? Are you having a good Christmas Eve?”

“Yeah, I am,” he replied with a nod. “What about you?”

“It’s just another Thursday for me,” you replied with a shrug. When you noticed the small frown on his face you continued. “But as far as Thursdays go this one has been pretty decent.”

Grabbing one of the bottles of alcohol from the bar, you and Rob sat by that window for what felt like forever, talking and laughing. 

“You know, you really are a breath of fresh air,” He told you. “Everyone else is so high strung, like your best friend who was just dancing on the table for example.”

“Yeah, I’m pretty easy to please. Oh, and I’m also invisible.”

“You are beautiful,” he answered with a bashful smile.

All you could do is shake your head. 

“Don’t do that, you know I think you’re beautiful. You just don’t like being proven wrong.”

“Well you’ve had more than enough opportunities to ask me out and haven’t,” you fired back.

“What?”

“I’ve set it up for you to ask me out at least a dozen times over the last few months!”

“You have? Really? When have you-” Trailing off he thought about it for a minute. “So wait, you are telling me that I have been psyching myself out for months when I’ve actually stood a chance?”

Before you could answer your best friend came running through the door.

“Y/N! Y/N! Come with me. Come dance with me!”

“Duty calls,” you stated as your friend pulled you up off the bench and towards the door.

A nice buzz kicking in you started dancing around the living room. You were actually enjoying yourself too, when Sarah stumbled over and wrapped her around you.

“There is a really cute boy standing under the mistletoe,” she teased with slurred speech. “I think he’s waiting for you.”

“He’s waiting for me?” you replied, jaw dropped. “Wow! It’s going to be a merry Christmas after all!”

Slowly making your way through the crowd you came around the corner and saw Rob standing under the mistletoe examining some pictures on the wall. At first you just stood there watching him and then with a deep breath you strutted towards him, not stopping until your lips were on his. One good, deep kiss later you were letting out a pleased hum and pulling back to look at him.

“Merry Christmas Robbie.”

He stared at you for a minute then smiled sweetly. “You worried me there for a second. It looked like you were trying to talk yourself out of it.”

“Yeah, well I figured if all the Christmas songs tell me to kiss the man under the mistletoe then I should probably listen.”

“Thank God for that.”

Bringing his hands up to the sides of your face he stroked your cheek and leaned in placing an even sweeter kiss on your lips.

“Would you like to get breakfast with me tomorrow?” he asked.

“Since we are doing that we might as well just make a whole night out of it,” you stated, nonchalantly. 

This made him chuckle. “You got it, Y/N. Merry Christmas.”

“And from that point on Y/N and Rob spent everyday together. You see, they were soulmates-”

“Like Cinderella and Prince charming?” your daughter interrupted, excitedly.

“Yes baby. Exactly! And just like a fairytale they lived happily ever after. In fact, they are even happier than Cinderella and Prince Charming. Also if you ever see a cute boy waiting for you under the mistletoe, you have my permission to kiss him, just once!”

“That was a good story,” she replied, with stars in her eyes.

“Great! That means you can go to bed now and just in time for Santa to come.”

“Mommy? How did you and Daddy meet?”

“That is a story for another night munchkin.”

“Mommy what’s alcohol?” she asked innocently.

“That will be a great question for you to ask your dad, tomorrow.” Getting her tucked back in, you placed a kiss on her nose and stood from the bed. “Now go to sleep! One story, that was the deal.”

Letting out a big yawn, she rolled over and started to close her eyes. “Goodnight Mommy.”

“Goodnight baby.”

Walking out of her room, you carefully pulled the door so it was almost shut and let out a sigh of relief. Bounding down the steps you came around the corner into the living room to find all the presents under the tree and your handsome husband sitting on the couch with his Santa hat still on as he scrolled through his phone.

“Good gracious,” you called out leaning against the wall. “What is it about a Santa hat and Christmas sweater that makes you so damn sexy?”

“It’s because you love me,” he replied, proudly.

“That is true.”

“I mean, you really love me. Like a lot.”

“You know it baby.” Joining him on the couch, you sat so you were facing him and snatched the hat off his head, tossing it to the side. “I guess that also explains why I just can’t seem to say no to you, or our daughter who is basically your mini-me.”

“Let me guess, she was able to guilt you into telling her a story?”

“Yep. She flashed me those damn, Benedict, puppy dog eyes and I was done for.”

“Well honey, you did say you didn’t want to have kids unless they came out just like me,” Rob said, patting your leg. “I’m just saying, it looks like you have gotten your wish.”

Letting out a chuckle, he snuck a quick kiss on your lips.

“So what story did you tell her?” he continued, still rubbing your thigh.

“I told her one of my all time favorite Christmas stories. The one about a boy who takes advantage of a girl under the mistletoe and then they fall in love because he seduced the sweet, innocent girl with hot, filthy sex.”

His jaw dropped. “How dare you. I was the sweet and innocent one who was corrupted. All I wanted that night was to cuddle. All I ever want is to cuddle.”

“Right,” you replied with a giggle. “Don’t worry Robbie, I told her the sweet, romantic, and completely perfect tale of the moment we fell in love. To her, you are still the closest thing she knows to a Disney Prince.”

“That was a pretty perfect night, huh? The first of many.”

“Yeah.” Letting out a long sigh, you flashed him a smile. “Speaking of perfect nights maybe we should get this one started?”

He nodded in response. “Happy anniversary beautiful.”

“Happy anniversary Robbie.”

Running your fingers through his hair, you leaned in and placed your lips to his, then quickly pulled back.

“Do you want to make another baby? I think we should make another baby because honestly it’s been the only thing I have been thinking about every night when we put the kids to bed.”

Forehead creased, he looked like he was thinking it over, then he shrugged. “Yep! let’s do it.”

Confessions

Characters: Chuck Shurley x Reader

Warnings: Spoilers for Supernatural Episode 15x19

Summary: With the growing tensions between him and the Winchesters Chuck erases Y/N’s memories and keeps her hidden far away from her brothers. After he finds himself powerless there is only one place he feels safe. Unfortunately the more time he spends with the woman he loves the more he starts to feel guilty for lying to her.

“Don’t go,” Chuck pleaded. “You need to stay.”

“I don’t have to do anything,” she replied, with a grin.

Grabbing her hand, he pulled her down so he was straddling his lap and placed his hands on her waist.

“You don’t want to go outside anyway. It’s cold out there.” 

Nibbling at her neck he slipped his hands under her shirt which she playfully pushed away with a giggle. 

“If you stay here, we can keep each other warm,” he teased.

A couple more kisses on her neck and she was ready to cave. For the next couple hours they sat there next to the fireplace, listening to records and drinking whiskey. Soon Y/N’s eyes had started to grow heavy and when her words started to slur, Chuck knew it was the product of too many drinks and that it would only be a matter of time before she would be resting her head on his shoulder and dozing off.

“You know Chuck,” she scolded, holding up her finger and starting to sway back and forth. “One of these days you aren’t going to be able to convince me to stay. No matter how cute your face is.”

“I knew you thought I was cute,” he replied with a chuckle.

“Oh please, I tell you you are pretty all the time.” Pulling her legs up beside her, she laid down with her head in his lap and let out a sigh. “I’ve had to have told you this like a hundred times now, Chuck. You are super, pretty.”

Y/N had become the one bright spot in his underwhelming, normal existence. There was still something missing though. Maybe everything would be better if he could actually tell her. Of course he couldn’t tell her everything, but if she was drunk and probably wouldn’t be remembering anything he said the next morning, that could be just the excuse he needed to vent a little.

“Y/N? Are you still awake?”

“Mmhm. Sure.”

“So if I tell you something tonight, will you promise me you won’t remember it in the morning?” 

“You just said lots of words, but I think we are on the same page,” she replied, softly.

“You know, we have known each other for quite some time, Y/N. Longer than you are even aware. You made me feel something, unlike anyone ever had, which is why I knew I had to come be with you.”

Stroking Y/N’s hair, he looked down to see her eyes were still closed so he continued. 

“You could not believe how much it gutted me when you said you never wanted to see me again. I was God and I couldn’t even get the woman I loved to pick me. You were just so concerned about freaking Sam and Dean, so of course they were able to get you to turn against me.”

“You were God?” she questioned, looking up at him. “That’s kind of hot.”

Shrugging, she closed her eyes and turned her head back, appearing to doze back off again.

“Yeah, I was God,” he replied, still playing with her hair. “Then the Winchesters and their stupid, precious, baby Jack went and wrecked it all. Now I’m stuck being just like every other person and I can’t confide in you because you’ll get mad and make me leave again. And this time I won’t have the ability to clear your memory. I can’t be alone now, Y/N.”

Letting out a small hum, she shifted positions. He really did love Y/N and that is why he almost felt bad that he couldn’t tell her about their past. He couldn’t risk losing her though, because she was the only thing he had now.

“I love you Chuck,” she stated, suddenly. Still not opening her eyes. 

“You do?” he asked with a chuckle. “You just told me you loved me for the first time, well for the first time again, and you won’t remember it in the morning.”

After that she really did fall asleep. Chuck followed soon after and the next thing he knew he was waking up to the smell of fresh coffee.

“Well good morning Mr. Shurley.”

Sitting up, Y/N walked over and sat down next to him, handing him one of the cups of coffee she had brought over, before placing a quick peck on his lips.

“Did you sleep okay?” She asked with a sweet smile.

“I did actually. What about you?”

She nodded in response and took a sip out of her coffee.

“You don’t remember us having any conversations? You didn’t have any weird dreams?”

“You know what? I did actually have a weird dream. You were in it and I had two brothers and my best friend was an Angel.” Stopping, she let out a giggle. “You guys were fighting and I was stuck in the middle. You really seemed to hate each other, too. Apparently you were God and you were kind of a douchebag.”

He froze. How did she know about all of that? It couldn’t be a coincidence that was her dream.

“And uh- you don’t remember saying you loved me?” he stuttered, hoping he could change the subject. 

“Hmmm.” She was acting like she had to think about it then leaned in and kissed him. It was a deep kiss and when she pulled back, a devilish smirk had spread across her face. “I do remember that actually. Of course that might just be because it’s kinda true.”

“Well, I obviously love you too,” he answered. “Do you remember anything else from last night? I mean you didn’t have any lustful dreams about God right?”

Bringing her hand up to the side of his face, she ran her fingers through his beard and bit her lip. “You are really sexy. You could definitely pull off that lordly, all powerful look.”

“Yeah, I think so too.”

She started to laugh. “Oh please, like sweet little Chuck Shurley could ever be that much of a dick.”

“You would be surprised Y/N.” All of a sudden he got the overwhelming urge to tell her everything. “Y/N do you- I think you- Nevermind.”

“What? What is it Chuck?”

“It’s nothing,” he said, shaking his head. “But you should know, I would still be in love with you even if I was God.”

“And I would still be in love with you, even if you were the arch nemesis of my brothers and my best friend the angel.”

Sneaking another kiss, she announced she was going to go make breakfast and disappeared back into the kitchen. He could’ve told Y/N everything but why would he do that when they had such a good thing going?

Imagine Marrying Rob

A Rob Benedict Aesthetic 

I love making aesthetics and it has been a while since I have done them so....

- The night before your wedding you and Rob end up leaving your bachelor and bachelorette parties early just to spend more time together.

- Rob tries sneaking into your room at night, but his mother catches him and insists that the two of you need to follow one tradition at least.

- Rob calls you multiple times throughout the morning while you are getting ready, just because he wants to make sure you are still planning on showing up.

- The first time you see each other, you both tear up. You both have your own anxieties when it comes to your relationship but seeing each other in that moment made you know everything was going to be okay.

- Your dress is flowy and its the first time you actually feel pretty. Rob of course looks even more handsome than you could’ve imagined. He wears a tux really well, much like everything else.

- You get married outside by the water. You cut out a little corner of the world for your nuptials which fits for you and Rob considering you spent everyday as if you were in your own little world. There are flowers and candles everywhere. Simple and Romantic is the theme and only the closest of your family and friends are invited, because the only thing that matters is that you and Rob are together.

- You write your own vows because nobody can quite describe what you and Rob have. You promise to always love each other so much, that nobody will ever be able to do it better. You promise to always be each others safe place and to be the love of each other’s lives.  

- Some of your best wedding photos come from the moments you and Rob think nobody is watching you or your to busy watching each other to care. The photographer says you were her favorite couple to photograph, even though it takes you ten times longer to take your actual wedding photos than most couples. To be fair it was all Rob’s fault because he kept making you laugh.

- Your first dance is to “Tangled up in you” by Aaron Lewis. Rob picks it because he knows it’s your favorite.

- Multiple times throughout the evening Rob takes you somewhere quiet, away from all the people so it can just be the two of you. Then, once everyone has left, Rob turns on a playlist from his phone and the two of you stay behind dancing in the dark. Just because he wants to dance with you one more time.

Chapter Fifty-One: All of me loves all of you

A year later

Walking into the kitchen, you grabbed another soda out of the fridge, and were getting ready to open it, when you heard giggling coming from the other room. Peaking around the corner you found Rob sitting on the floor and being attacked by the younger cousins and neighbor kids that had come to the birthday party for Rob’s sister. He was always so good with kids, and being a decent man just came so easy to him, that you couldn’t understand how he didn’t see it too. You saw it in everything he did.

“Someone’s having fun isn’t he,” Rob’s mom stated as she came up behind you. “The kids seem to be having fun too.”

“Yeah he is pretty great.”

“So do you think you and Rob might be wanting to have kids of your own some day?”

You started to laugh. “What are you doing?”

“I’m not doing anything,” she replied innocently. “I just know you guys might need a little nudge. You guys are amazing together though, and I know you will make an adorable family.”

Watching as Rob tickled one of the kids, while fending off the one that was climbing on him, you couldn’t help but smile. 

“Oddly enough I am not the one that needs convincing,” you said. “I don’t want to push him though, because I know he is going to be great at it and I just want him to be able to enjoy it once he is ready.”

“I got this guys. Don’t worry, I don’t need any help,” Rob called out.

“We know you do baby. Keep it up,” you answered with a cheesy grin and gave him a thumbs up.

Rob’s mom playfully nudged your arm. “I think someone is ready, he’s just not-”

“But he’s not ready to admit it,” you interrupted. 

Rob spent the rest of the party with kids hanging off of him, and the more you watched him, the more you found yourself not wanting to wait. Then on the drive home, he reached over and took your hand just like he usually did and something about it had you even more ready for the next phase. You loved him with everything inside of you, which all of a sudden had you wondering how you could’ve waited to start a family with him. All you needed to do was find the right way to bring it up, because the last thing you wanted was to make him feel rushed. Then again, you knew without a doubt that he loved you just as much, and maybe that was all you needed.

“Cas do you really think this is the time for you and y/n to start fooling around?”

Coming around the corner, you stopped and hid behind the wall to listen. 

“Let me guess, this is where you tell me I am being stupid?” Cass questioned.

“We’re not saying you’re stupid,” Sam reassured.

“No that is exactly what am I saying,” Dean interrupted. “We are god knows how far away from our showdown with Chuck and you want to fool around with our sister?”

“Dean, why do you keep saying “Fooling around” like that? Are you wondering if y/n and I have had sexual intercourse?”

You started to laugh, but quickly covered your mouth to stifle the sound so they wouldn’t know you were there listening to their conversation. Peaking around into the kitchen you saw Cas staring up at Dean in his signature way. Sam sat there at the kitchen table just shaking his head, but Dean’s cheeks were growing redder by the minute.

“Sammy, did he just use our sisters name and sexual intercourse in the same sentence?”

“I don’t really understand what the problem is here,” Cas stated, brow furrowed in confusion. “You’ve had sex with many women.”

This time Sam started to laugh. “Look Cas, it’s just y/n is our little sister and we’re protective of her, you know? Plus you’re our friend so it’s a little weird thinking of you two like that.”

“Well, though we are intimate I assure you it’s a lot more than that. I love y/n.”

All of a sudden it started to feel like your heart was fluttering around in your chest. He never told you he loved you before.

“You love her?” Sam and Dean asked in unison.

“You love me?” you repeated, walking through the doorway, not even realizing you had started to move. Walking over, you planted a kiss on his lips, then lowered yourself down to his lap, crossing your hands behind his neck. “Cas why didn’t you tell me?”

“I brought you a toothbrush, and put it in one of those holders in my room,” he replied. “Isn’t that what couples do when they love each other? They have matching toothbrushes and put them together in the bathroom?”

You thought about it for a minute then felt your cheeks grow warm with blush as a big smile spread across your face. “Awe Cas, you do love me!”

“Isn’t that what people say when they want to start having kids?” Stopping, Dean thought about it for a minute then let out a groan. “Oh no, that’s what’s coming next isn’t it? Our sister, her angel husband, and their nephilim kids.”

“Well we do have Jack,” you said, with a cheeky grin. “I suppose that will do. For now anyway.”
