Hello! Most of the art from that account isn’t saved anywhere.. but I have saved my fav pieces from that time! It’ll probably just be a struggle to find them… while I’m not in the fandom anymore, I do still think abt the little guy. It’s more featured in an oc story but I think I’ll still think of it as Nightmare even if it goes by “King” in the story.

the black thing attached to the eye is a nostril. It folds into his skull, the shadow is intentional. The light grey is lace.

still, feels nice to know there is still an audience for the creature! I’ll probably still post artwork of this guy every once in a while just for you! (Since the story is a MAJOR work in progress)

Nightmare is a simple character. EXTREMELY so. It's childish and primitive, much like a caveman kid, but it carries street knowledge of centuries and adapts like a wild beast. The reason it shines and appeals to me so much, is because of the way it draws things out of the other characters. The way it forces dream to release their anger. The way it leans into killers uncanny behaviour, the ways it validates horror and irritates dust. How it forces blue to confront the nature of things, colour to see people's essence in a way that can't be denied and in the way it makes error and ink talk themselves into realising things.
