You were perfect.
He couldn't get enough of you.
Even he doesn't know when the obsession started, or why. A simple glance was all it took before his world changed.
He hated the look of exhaustion plastered on your face each time you got off work late. He loathed seeing you like that. Frustrated and tired. If only he could embrace you, planting kisses all over your body, whispering into your ear as you fell asleep in his arms. Peter's cheeks flared as he thought about you, but he knew he must be patient if he wanted to come into your life.
Today was like any other day, he'd wait for you to finish work and walk you home. But from a safe distance in the shadows... How else could he be around to protect you? What if you were attacked?? What something happened to you??? Peter clenched his fists, at the thought of you leaving his life as suddenly as you entered. He'd be empty without you. You were everything to him.
He grumbled right before the jingle of the bell on the diner door caught his attention. You swiftly walked out of the diner while putting on your jacket. Peter quickly checked his phone. 9:37pm. Right on time. You stopped and sighed before starting on your walk home. Peter left his concealed spot in the bushes nearby, and began to walk silently, putting a safe distance between him and you. Your apartment was only 2 blocks away so it wouldn't take long until you were safely home.
Despite Peter knowing you were safe by walking near you, he did worry a little. If you were oblivious to him being near, imagine who could be following you unnoticed if he wasn't there? Peter let out a grunt at the thought. You turned around at the sound. Luckily for him, there was a conveniently placed trash can for him to duck behind before you managed to see him. He thought, if he was protecting you, it wasn't weird to hide, right? He just didn't want to scare you off before you had a chance to realise how much you needed him in your life, despite not knowing him yet...
As you picked up the pace and carried on walking, Peter did the same. Soon enough, you had reached your apartment complex. Peter knew the drill from here. You would go inside and walk down the hall to your room, while he would go around the back and crouch patiently outside your window. Luckily for him, there were no cameras around the building, so he could stay there for as long as he pleased. It was 9.46pm now, so he knew it would only be roughly another 30 minutes before you'd be asleep and he could check on you through the window. Just 30 more minutes...
You unlocked the door and went inside. Your roomate Lucy was out of town on a road trip with her latest boyfriend. You were really struggling to pay the rent on your apartment at the moment, and you swore this was the last time you'd cover Lucy's half, but at least you had the whole place to yourself for a few days.
You showered and put your pj's on, before heading to your room. Flopping down on the bed, you gave a long exhale as you stared at the ceiling. Late shifts at the diner always took a toll on you. After getting under the covers, you fell asleep almost instantly.
10.33pm. Just as planned. Peter peeked his head up to the window, just enough to see you turned to face him on your side, sleeping peacefuly. You were so fucking perfect. Every curve and dip on your body. There wasn't a flaw on you in his eyes. The way your lashes cast a shadow on your face and how your lips parted as you slept made peter burn up and heave a sigh of arousal. "y/n.." he quietly groaned, pressing his hand against the cold glass..
