I know how hard the last weeks were for you and your brother with no clue whatsoever about a way to bring us back to this world.

Yes… There were difficult moments and at some point Ardyn broke down and me too but… I tried to…to…

Oh Gilgamesh, I was afraid I had lost the hope of saving Eos, and I really feared I would never see you again… At some point, I scared I couldn’t handle the situation because the only thought of having lost everything was driving me crazy…

Sorry, I’m very sorry but sometimes, I still feel so… Human.

But I’m so happy you are here with me again and we can continue to hope that all the sacrifices we did weren’t done in vain.

The Chosen King and I saw part of your struggles. You can be proud of yourself, you remained very brave in front of adversity.

We felt so powerless from the place we were jailed, we wanted to let you know we were alright but unfortunatelly we couldn’t send anything to you.

We were in a place out of time and space. When weeks passed for you, for us it was only a few hours. Sometimes we had visions from your world and sometimes it was visions from the past. We saw Solheim’s downfall. It’s when we understood that their knowledge didn’t help them, on the contrary, that the light of the Crystal appeared and brought us here.

I feel so sad for Noctis… He’s so innocent and he has to face such an ungrateful task… And also Ardyn… Sometimes I wish I could go back in time, with hindsight, and change things, but unfortunatly that’s not how life works…😔

The only thing we can do now is to believe in the Chosen King’s strength. The wait was long but it will soon come to an end. With their sacrifices, the world will be able to be born anew… and our task will be over.

The Crystal. It was all unexpected; we just didn’t know what to do anymore when all of a sudden we saw that light, the light of the Crystal and it spoke to us… After, when the light has disappeared, we saw you here.

The same thing happened to us: we found and ancient machine from Solheim but it only showed to us the downfall of their civilization...When we understood technology would never be the solution a light appeared and in a wink of an eye, just the time to hear its words, it brought us here.

I’d heard about Solheim’s fall in the past, but I never imagined it was so awful.

We lost the knowledge to use it but in the past, even if they created it, they have been destroyed by it.

Perhaps it’s what we need to recall today…If we are in this situation, it is because Ardyn tried to circumvent fate by using Solheim’s technology to save both of you.

Maybe it is simply impossible to go against Gods’ will that’s why each time we try, we have to pay the price for our complacency…

No no, I never meant to blaspheme, no. I just think that sometimes humans like me can’t understand Gods’ will and they think that Gods are strict. I understand Ardyn’s motivations but it doesn’t mean I agree with him. It’s just that…he gave me hope.

I know what I have to do and I’ll fulfill my duty, but it would have been nice if another way could had existed.

I sympathize deeply with you, Noctis. Your destiny is hard and unfair, as is Ardyn’s one.

This technology and its consequences proved to us that it is not the solution. The only way is for the Chosen King to give his heart so the light can return…and it’s something only you can do: you can’t create emotions with technology. Nonetheless, it is you as a human being with all the strength of your feelings that can defeat the unreal darkness corrupting Eos.

Unfortunately, nothing can replace your sacrifice.
