never have a brother that’s a million years older than you
People really can't stand seeing a relationship that they can't put a label on

Yes, this. A stunning number of people will default to "because it's illegal." Teaching an intro-level bioethics course will demonstrate real fucking fast that a lot of the population just lets legality stand in for morality.
You guys and your false dichotomy in how you view characters speaks volumes about how you navigate the real world.
you should be able to draw more than one character. more than one type of character. more than one gender, more than one race. more than one weight. more than one height. more than one age. more than conventionally attractive features. especially if the only character you “can” draw is a conventionally attractive skinny young white man. you have to draw more than that. branch out. growth is half the purpose of art. you need to be comfortable with characters that don’t look like you, attractive to you, etc etc. because you can draw anything when you get down to the definition, you just don’t Want to. and the types of people you strictly Want to draw say a lot about you. all art is practice. you are never finished. look up references. get comfortable with different people.
We Need more women that are monsters (in fiction)
I know Fandom is scared of that, but we need more of them.
Im talking about women who are no longer human, women who got experimented on, cursed, infected, monster women who are disgusting to look at, who are nightmare fuel, monster women who don’t look like women(or human, but I wanted to emphasize that women don’t always gotta look like women) from the amount of body horror on them, 20ft tall monster women who became beyond human comprehension, alien monster women, robot women, women who wanted to kill/purge something, but somewhere along they themselves became it too, zombie women, deep sea horror monster women, cryptid women, uncanny valley monster women. “Oh but the source media doesn’t feature monster women despite it being a possibility” make an Au. Even if it isn’t a plausible possibility, make an Au.
When I say monster women I don’t mean monsters that look like women I mean women that look like monsters, if that makes sense.
Make her have boobs if you absolutely have to. Make her flat/bald/non feminine voice/non feminine body shape if you’re not a coward.
No, they don’t have to be animalistic and kos anything that moves (but they can be!). Yes, they can be nice and have humanity (but they don’t have to!)
Do you see my vision
SIMPLE GUIDE:
Body Horror: Things that cannot happen in real life. EX: The Thing, stomach mouths, eyes on hands, etc
Gore: Fresh injuries, often severe. EX: Severed leg, gutspill, deep gashes, etc
NEITHER: Healed injuries and burns, congenital differences, missing appendages, etc. If I could theoretically go to the store and see that character browsing the isles- It isn't body horror or gore. That's just a person. *AND the amount of people that tag, not just fictional characters, but real human beings as body horror is staggering. Its not solely a fandom issue, ableism and bigotry against anyone that looks sufficiently "different" is prevalent in real life and has devastating consequences.
(Modified) from my comment left on this post.
If your character on artfight has a body horror tag and I open the character and they just have scarring I think you should blow up. This applies to any sort of physical disabilities too.
This applies to intense scarring too. This applies to birth defects. I don't care. A lot of people just look like that. It's not body horror.
