About me :

You can call me N. I like gore and horror but I generally prefer surrealist horror. Though I won’t turn my nose up at any good horror movie. I also like antiques, vintage leather and vulture culture, though unfortunately I don’t have the time or resources to participate.

I’m quite friendly so my asks are very open and don’t be afraid to dm me anything! But no minors or random unasked for nudes. Or dirty talk. Sigh. Just have decorum. please. Being flirty is fine, just please be respectful.

I’m open to talk about anything even if I’m not in the fandom, although I do have anxiety so my apologies if I do not respond right away, I will at some point!

My hobbies :

I’m a big reader, though I barely have time to. I like hand sewing (working on getting a sewing machine), woodworking and watching any show or movie that catches my interest. I also like thrifting and going to antique stores.

My music :

I don’t have anyone to talk about music with so if you have similar taste or would like to recommend me anything, please do!

My favorite overarching genres are progressive metal, pop punk, 1960s blues and nu metal.

My favorite bands/artists are sleep token, paramore, loathe (still getting into them!) and Albert king (I just adore his born under a bad sign album!)

My fandoms :

American psycho, TSHD, Hannibal, THG (the books NOT the movies), Bridgerton (yes, it was a surprise for me too) And Sir Cameron (don’t know if that counts as a fandom exactly but I’m in blorbo hell) Really I’ll enjoy anything that’s well written and well done.

everyone should empathize with women and engage in stories that heavily feature women btw. you MUST view women as relatable and stop seeing us as something Other. you don't have to be a woman to do this

being disabled and lgbt is such a horrible curse because you will see the most ableist take on earth online and you're like "oh surely this is some right-wing fascist loser" and then you look at the person who said it and there's pronouns in their bio. and it's like, how did we get here? but the reality is that a lot of abled people (and often disabled people who are intolerant of different disabilities) are just not even willing to confront the idea that they are capable of punching down on other marginalized groups

like i don't know who needs to hear this but you are Not as progressive as you think you are if you're saying stuff like the R slur, "jobless behavior", making fun of nonverbal people, mocking physical differences, using psychotic as an insult, or calling people "lazy" for using disability aids. even if you're gay!

When Life Gives You Corpses is a brilliant YA about a cursed praying mantis who falls for a young witch. Yield Under Great Persuasion is a raunchy, but surprisingly sweet story about two men repairing their relationship. Fabulous Bodies is a horror story about a queer rockstar rising from the dead.

This is Where the Future Bleeds is a fantasy set in a vividly imagined land, where two women (who happen to kiss) are the key to healing the broken sky. You're No Better is a story about a teen struggling in the shadow of his murderous parent. Oil on Canvas is about a woman who finds disturbing paintings in the home of her dead mother.

and then here's a list of 26 queer books by Black authors set to publish this year, and a 10 upcoming books by trans authors. if you want to fight back against queer censorship, use your wallet! or (if that's not an option) you can contact your local library and ask them to stock a copy.
