Hi!

Hey!! I was wondering if you have a set sort of method you’re using to induce, or just pumping? And have you noticed any changes in your boobs size/appearance? I’ve considered getting the kind of pump you have bc I’ve wanted to induce for sooo long, but it makes me kind of nervous for it to potentially be a reality 😅 I know that often once you start lactating you get bigger (which I would love personally bc in a cup or two more, I could nurse myself), but I don’t know how I feel about my nipples getting large and dark, and if it’ll become something that’s harder to keep private. Just wondering if you have any thoughts about stuff like that too!

Hi Anon! Thanks for the message. I pump regularly, take production supplements and drink a tea for nursing mothers (look it up on Amazon!). I have noticed that my breasts are firmer and more tender and I did go up a whole cup size over the summer😅 I wouldn’t say my nipples have become any darker, however. Why don’t you start with a hand pump? They are a cheaper option, can even get them second hand, but do require manual pumping. If you’re nervous about the reality of producing your own breastmilk, don’t be! It’s clearly something you want and you can always stop or take it slow! I know some people on here talk about drug/hormone supplements that forces you body to produce milk, which I find scary, so I too am just taking it slow and at my own pace! If you find it’s getting too much, you can stop at any time! Your body is able to do beautiful and amazing things, Anon, don’t be nervous! In regard to keeping it private, you could set up a routine that allows you to pump around your schedule. For example, I, obviously, never pump at work or around people, I pump when I wake up, when I get home from work and before bed! It’s nice and personal that way and soothing, I find. Gets me in a good mindset!
