NetCreator is a free plugin I made for Cinema 4D. I've been looking for ways to generate linking splines for polygon object in C4D with the support of VertexMap and Matrix Object, since other plugins out there do not have this feature yet I decided to made my own one.

This is a test I made with NetCreator which turned out to be a disaster in the end, totally crap. I decide to put it here anyway.

The blend function in the Cloner is a very useful tool in the mograph toolset. The function lets you be able to blend clones based on the object's parameters in the cloner object. Being able to blend these clones with effectors can create many possibilities to crating a lot of different types of animation very quickly.

I needed a simple way to map a bunch of objects seamlessly without UV-unwrapping and came up with this hack. Everything is done in one texture so you can easily assign it to multiple objects in one go and save it as a preset. Would be great to have natively in C4D so share it and perhaps Maxon can implement it.

FYI: Cineversity presents a similar method blending several texture tags with flat projections. You can use this if you want more control. However you will get longer rendertimes and a more complicated setup.

Using the Spline Shader to Create Text as a Material in Cinema 4D from EJ Hassenfratz on Vimeo.

In this quick tip I'll show you how to totally bypass Photoshop and create 2D text materials and apply to 3D objects as textures by using Cinema 4D's Spline Shader. Using the Spline Shader you can use text as simply as a 2D resolution independent material, or get creative and use is in the bump or displacement channels of a material to get some embossed or stamped metal looks. The Spline Shader also isn't limited to just text, you can use any spline shape to create a texture!

Instead of having to be limited to choosing just one Delay mode (Spring, Blend, Even), you can now apply all three modes using a single Über Delay effector!
