it’s been so long since i’ve been on tumblr.

life update: i’m now graduated college and still love gudetama.

looking back at my old posts, they’re incredibly cringy, but i suppose that’s what it’s supposed to be like when you’re 15. good memories were made. maybe i’ll post once in a while. for funzies.

Egg with severe depression

I had no idea who is Gudeyama and why it caused so much of craziness at Shibuya station. So I made a photos and just after that I googled it. This is what I have found:

One of Japan’s most popular mascots is an egg with crippling depression. Meet Gudetama, the anthropomorphic embodiment of severe depression.

And apparently it’s his fifth anniversary and it is celebrated in one of the most busiest points at Shibuya station.

People got crazy. Everyone make photos with it, touch it, knock it, punch it.

There is even special security staff to check if fans of Gudetama are not getting too excited

I don’t exactly understand it, but one of the most exciting part of Gudetama for his (?) fans seems to be it’s back parts. Which, by the way, are quite soft in touch
