“I like to see my “style” more as a definition of how I approach my work. How I work with people, how I deliver results, and how I solve problems.”
I think by this point we’ve developed a good sense of what our individual work flow is. Even I find it difficult to manage my time in perfect proportions before I resort to procrastination. But the main point is creating your own effective process which I believe goes along the line of given assignment, brainstorming, prototyping, iterations from critique, to final product. Schneider advised us to keep our “style” and approaches open to change yet confidently bold in everything we create.

I think artists and designers are pushed to develop and cultivate their own personal style, which I think is fine, but is limiting in the way that people traditionally think about it. I agree with the author on the point that style is more of how someone approaches their work and their work process as opposed to having visual similarity in their works.Developing a good and effective way of working is more important to me than worrying about how cohesive my wok collectively looks like, as I feel that develops on its own. I think it is better to focus your efforts on creating good work habits and keep an open mind so you don’t limit yourself in what you create or how it looks.
