There’s barely any time to register what is happening before a camera is basically shoved in his face

Ben grins behind the camera and gestures to it before gesturing to Blaise.

Blaise jumped a little at the camera being shoved his way, his shoulders tensed a little and he took a step back. A confused look formed on his face as he looked at Ben, the camera and the apology throwing him off.

“….”

He said nothing while he started to look around a bit dramatically, then he pointed at himself with his eyes widened a little bit.

“You’re apologizing to me?” He said shocked. “Like…like you’re talking to me?”

Blaise took a step forward and leaned forward closer to Ben, ignoring the camera for a moment.

“What do you want?…” He said suspiciously now - figuring Ben needed something…cause why else would he apologize with a camera.

“Yeah I’m talkin’ to you doofus. I’m sorry. Now pick yes or no….”

He huffs and gestures again.

“I don’t want anything I’m apologizin’— turning a new leaf or whatever.”

He shuffles awkwardly before taking a step back when he realized Blaise wasn’t in the shot.

“Don’t make me take it back.. I’ll cut this out..”

“I don’t think....” He trailed off

He tone was quieter for a moment, he looked down debating. It didn’t really take him long though considering he had low standards.

“I mean you did buy my juice that one time..sometimes you’re nice…” Blaise thought about it like it was a serious matter. “….I guess I’ll forgive you..” He squinted “does this mean we’re friends?”

“Do you want to be friends?? I’m not gonna go out of my way if you don’t wanna be friends. I could always just… not talk to you.”

Ben tilts his head as he waits for him, fingers drumming against the camera. For a second Ben looked like he was thinking about turning the camera off and ‘turning the leaf’ again.

“I mean yeah whatever man we can be friends.”

Blaise stood there a little surprised that Ben agreed to being friends, but then he felt unsure - despite being the one who asked. He started to fidget with his sleeve.

“….I mean if you actually want to i wouldn’t mind, but I’ll leave that up to you. I just kind of got use to our back and forth bullying thingy.” He weakly gestured between them before shrugging. “But uh, no! Yeah, I accept your apology. I appreciate it? I think..”

He gave a small nod and smile, he felt a little out of place but he sucked it up. He took a step back ready to leave, but he stayed for a moment waiting to see if Ben was going to say anything else.

“The back and forth doesn’t have to stop but I’ll stop with the actually animosity, yanno?”

He hummed and cut the camera off, grinning at Blaise.

“Eh. We’ll figure it out. Cya.”

He nods then hurries off likely to go do the same thing to someone else,, yanno cause he’s a jenis.

Blaise stood there giving small nods in response, only response he had was a small.

Once Ben finally went off - instead of going off himself, Blaise just sat down on the ground. Thinking about the interaction but also just going back to being his stuped self.
