as to be expected of the worldās most mundane adrenalin junky, the slight scare had rosieās heart racing. Ā ā no, no, itās okay, ā Ā she assured, voice calmer than she felt, Ā ā iām justā itās totally not your fault. sorry. āĀ her jumpers had survived far worse than instant hot chocolate, and for the sake of a silver lining, the spill just added characterĀ to her wardrobe today.Ā ā itās a bit weird talking to you through the stairs, what are you doing down there ?Ā you are real, rightĀ ? ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā despite what some people thought, harlow didnāt ever mean to scare people. he looked up to get a better view point to the person he was talking to.Ā āare you sure? i feel bad.ā so maybe he wasnāt as much of a bad boy as some people thought he was.Ā āuh, iām doing homework. or i was. apparently this is a terrible place to do homework when you end up dropping your pencil.ā he let out a laugh.Ā āyeah, iām real.āĀ
chandler got home and set his bag down. he had quite a bit of homework he needed to get to, but first he was hungry. he grabbed a yogurt from his fridge and went to step onto the fire escape, pausing when he realized there was someone already out there.Ā āwhat the fuck, dude?ā he blurted out as he exited his apartment. this was the closest thing heād ever had to a balcony, and he hadnāt expected someone to be hanging out on it.Ā ātrespass much?ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā harlow would never admit to doing anything illegal. not that he didnāt frequently do things that were illegal, he just never admitted to it. obviously chilling out on the fire escape could be considered a grey area. personally, he didnāt think so, but that wasnāt up to him. harlow didnāt have illegal intent anyway.Ā āyou own the outside of the building?ā harlow responded. he knew how to skirt the edges of illegal matters, especially trespassing matters.Ā
Ā Ā Ā adriana looked down at her hands, a questioning gaze going toward the boy.Ā ādo you mind?ā she asked, pointing down at the cigarette in her hands. while he replied, she let out a short chuckle, smirking playfully at the boy.Ā āi like haunted houses ā i wouldnāt mind if you took me to one.ā she teased, playing with the stick in her hands.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā harlow shrugged at the cigarette. not his thing, but that didnāt mean he cared if others smoked.Ā ānope,ā he said, verbally. not many people could keep up with harlow, so it was nice to know that there were people that at least wanted to try. so maybe he did stupid things, but that didnāt matter.Ā āiāll keep that in mind. i donāt think thereās any good ones right now. yet.āĀ
Damien stared at the pencil sitting on the ground just mere inches from his feet. That thing had almost hit him on the head. He slowly tilted his head back, his eyes locking onto the guy sitting on the fire escape.Ā āDude⦠what the actual fuck?ā
Ā Ā Ā he hadnāt meant to drop the pencil. it just slipped from his hand. harlow was pretty sure that life was telling him not to do homework. fine with him, he wasnāt having a lot of fun.Ā āsorry!ā he yelled down.Ā āwhat do you mean what the fuck? iām doing homework.āĀ
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ever since things had gone sour for her in alton, adriana had focused on herself and work, not really allowing herself to have time for much else. becoming a smoker once again, she didnāt enjoy the smell on her apartment so she resorted to going up to the fire escape. she hadnāt noticed the boy that was hanging there until he spoke, causing her to almost drop her lighter all th way down.Ā ājesus christ! how long have you been there?ā she questioned, looking over at harlow.Ā āyouāve scared the shit out of me.ā
Ā Ā Ā harlow was the type of person that was always going and doing things. he loved to have fun no matter what he was doing. while he hated doing homework, he actually liked the things he was studying. homework was just terrible. harlow loved being outside and wished that he could spend more time outside.Ā āuh, like three hours,ā he replied, with a laugh.Ā āwell, iām not taking you to a haunted house.ā harlow sat up.Ā
the view from alton had always been one of the more appealing qualities of the apartment complex. there was something very tender about moments like this; private dates with the city skyline and a book that deserved to be read again. rosie visiblyĀ startled at the voice, soaking the sleeve of her jumper in the hot chocolate sheād been holding. Ā ā fudge. ā Ā looking between the gap in her legs, the first thing she saw was an open text book, and then a person. Ā Ā ā oh my god, donāt do that. ā
Ā Ā Ā harlow always had an adventurous streak. he drove a motorcycle and had a couple of tattoos. he didnāt think about the law before he did things. being at the edge of danger was fun to him. a lot of people didnāt understand why he was going into computer engineering. he forgot that other people existed sometimes.Ā āoh, shit. iām sorry,ā he replied. he really needed to remember that he wasnāt the only person on the planet.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā often harlow didnāt end up working on homework in his apartment. heād find the weirdest of places to work on it. or at least all the written stuff. today, he managed to find a place hanging off the second story fire escape -- a place he knew he wasnāt supposed to be, but didnāt care. chewing on the end of his pencil, it fell through his grasp and fell to the ground.Ā āshit. well, i guess thatās the worldās way of saying not to do my homework.āĀ
(elliot fletcher- trans male, 21) ā have you met HARLOW BISHOP yet? word is that he is COMPETITIVE & SOCIABLE, though if you catch him on the wrong day, he can also be ARROGANT & IMPULSIVE. i heard that he is a STUDENT (COMPUTER ENGINEERING), but donāt take it from me. when he was moving into 1B, i thought i heard DANCING THROUGH LIFE from WICKED playing from his apartment. pretty appropriate, right?
okay, okay. so hereās my second muse. heās much more fun & wild. again, iām going to use this as a starting call/plotting call. however, i will try and get some responses out to some of the starters that are already out there. ( oh and btw, iām he/him throughout harlowās bio, even though he didnāt start transitioning until he was eighteen )Ā
harlow was adopted by a nice normal couple when he was three years old. his parents were thought to not be able to have children, so they were excited to bring a little baby home. however, a year later, they conceived their own child. almost at once, harlow had to compete for his parents attention with the new baby.
after a while, harlow realized that it didnāt matter how good he was, his parents were never going to notice him. he loved his younger sister, but couldnāt stand being ignored by his parents. so he started to act out. all his teachers were confused by this but didnāt ask him what was wrong.Ā
instead he just got all sorts of detentions while his sister paraded around the living room with her perfect grades and her perfect everything and harlow was sent to his room without dessert. still he parents didnāt pay mind to him, even with his good grades.Ā
in high school, things changed for the better. harlow was able to breathe because he was more on his own. he expanded his group of friends and really flourished. he helped found his schoolās computer and gaming club, and was on debate team. harlow had a really good time in high school, until his sister came to the school his senior year.Ā
things began to change and while he knew heād become his own person it was difficult to watch her so easily go through life. harlow had the worst year academically that heād ever had -- which meant he got cās, not to be perfectly dramatic about it. still he got scholarships to colleges for his work on computer engineering. heāsĀ now a senior in college and super proud of what heās doing, even if his parents arenāt proud of him.Ā
his parents were supportive of his transition, but honestly still donāt notice him. because of that heās a bit bitter when talking about his family. other than that heās super fun and loves to have a good time.
