“Yes, I think it is” She nodded, tilting her head as he asked her if she liked any of those flowers. “Well, I like them all, but they’re all for different occasions. You get roses when you’re feeling particularly romantic, or sensual. Daffodils and Daisies? There more every day ‘i was thinking about you and maybe we should brighten the room up’ flowers.” She explained to him, hoping that even if this knowledge wasn’t used on her, Harrison’s next fling wouldn’t be recieving a sexy bouquet of daisies. “My favourite are lillies though.”
“Oh, I haven’t lived there for a while. I moved away for college and never looked back” Hallie half lied as she settled into the back of the very nice car “Well, I definitely wouldn’t have pegged you for a computer nerd. They’re not usually as sexy as you are” She bit her lip momentarily before breaking eye contact and making a point to buckle up.
“I thought flowers were just flowers. I didn’t realize there was a meaning to any of them. I thought they all were just meant as a nice gesture,” he said with a shrug, “But the more you know. I’m going to have to try to remember that. I might need you to write what they all mean down. Except for your favorite flower, I’m going to remember that one.”
“Where’d you go to college?” He asked as he looked at her. “Thank you. That's not the usual response I get,” Harrison said with a chuckle, “It’s a lot of fun, I really love my job.”
