cool trick on naming your ocs!!!!!
if you ever needed an idea on making a unique name for your ocs, you can always use this small trick i do sometimes lets say you want a cooler and better name for your oc named emily, because you think the name is boring and just probably mid in general. there's so many emily's out there and maybe you don't want your oc to be apart of that or whatever LOL but all you have to do is head to the google translate and click on japanese. (im not sure if this would work with other languages, probably who knows, but you can always try that out!) what this will do is that if you ever put an english word that doesn't really exist in hiragana it will turn into katakana, which is a set of the alphabet or just characters in japanese to pronounce certain words from other languages. under the katakana characters of what name you entered, like emily, it will show you the romanized version under for you.
and look! emiri sounds cooler than emily if that's what you perfer. i think using this small trick makes some of my ocs names look cooler on how their spelt and even pronounced. and i feel like other people should know this because i sometimes hate gatekeeping lol anyway like i said earlier about trying this out with other languages, some might not work and just end up looking the same like in german but here's how this looks in russian romanized!
