He was as familiar as ever, something that should feel strange considering their limited amount of contact in the past. However, they shared a connection, and though it was brief it was still something to cling to. Aside from a sketchpad and barely a handful of people, Roxas was among the few that Naminé still had.

          “I could say the same. Have you been well…?”

            had he been well? he... wasn’t sure he could exactly call it that. confused and misguided sounded more appropriate. there was still much he was figuring out since his newly acquired existence. there had to be some kind of explanation for it, right? not that he was particularly upset about having his body back.             he was thrilled about that part.

    The sight of the heartless around him was nothing new to the blond, having been in this situation a few times before since making his home in Radiant Garden. The blond, however, was new to his home. In ways, Cloud was reminded of Sora, the attitude, however, was nothing like the brunet’s.

         ❝ Focus on the fight, kid. Loss of focus is loss of life. ❞

     Seeing movement at his side, Cloud wasted no time swinging out with his sword, obliterating the heartless with the blow no problem.

            Roxas was always focused on the fight. he’d been through his fair share of battles before. hell, he took on Sai’x, Riku, and Sora and almost beat all three of them. but now was not the time to be lingering on past battles. right now, he had to focus on the one right in front of him.

            with his Keyblades held firm, Roxas dashed and leapt forward, taking out a few of the Heartless in front of him with relative ease. they were nothing compared to Nobodies. this battle would be over in no time at all.
