here’s just a post to explain why i’ve been dead for a year and a half

if u’ve cared why i’ve been gone here u go

so i’ve been having a gender crisis since abt may/june 2015 and i haven’t rly known how to deal with it or tell anyone on here (micah it’d be easy literally just tell everyone wow ur a boy it’s not that hard) but i was afraid for whatever reason so i just sorta went mmmmmm no thanks and left and stopped writing and i met a bunch of new friends and i had a new friend group and i moved with my dad’s side of the family for a while (which is a stress post all in and of itself, i do not like my father) so i started to, not outgrow, but i started to disconnect from the triles fandom and degrassi fandom and all fandoms in general really, and at first i really didn’t notice, with all the new changes and the family and everything going on i really didn’t have time to talk to anyone or the energy to do much about it so i just. did not. but then i did and i wanted to get back into talking people and back into fandoms and stuff and i finally did start writing again and getting into shit and i realized how much i missed everyone like. omfg. especially sawyer and leigh u two are my shit and i love u two to pieces and i miss u two so much and i know ur probably both gonna read this so hi i missed u fuckers

i haven’t really had time to be in the group chat, i forgot what my kik was and shit and so i’ve just sorta been like fuc and idk. im pretty sure i rejoined in like april or may, i was on the rocks with my boyfriend then and we ended up breaking up so i was sad and then when we got back together i got rly distracted and didn’t really have time for anything with school and drama and shit i was sort of packed but i’m not really packed right now, in fact i’m probably the most chill and bored i’ve ever been, i’ve been writing on ao3 (if u found my new account hi, u probably know who i am) 

but yeah im thriving and alive and i’m back and im here to stay

“Tristan, you’ve come so far.” Miles put a hand on his shoulder, keeping him in place as he blockaded the door. “You can’t back out now.”

“He just thinks I’m some immature kid.”

“Listen to me.” Miles put his other hand on Tristan’s open shoulder. “It doesn’t matter what he thinks. He raped you. This is just about the most mature thing you can do.”

“I’m scared.” Tristan admitted sheepishly.

“I know. But you can do this.” Miles took his hand. “You can face him. We can face him. Together.”

Miles felt his body turn to fire, and felt it move on its own accord. He felt his hands moving before he had time to stop them. He moved until he was holding Yates by his collar.

“You find it fun to prey on teens, ha? Then come back like it’s nothing.” He swung the man as he held him up to his fist.

“He wanted it.”

Miles wasn’t sure what happened after that. All he remembers is being in the ER with a broken hand.

He’d felt as if he’d ruined everything, as if nothing he could say could fix the situation at hand. He’d gone from loving to vicious in a second and he wasn’t proud of it. He couldn’t even tell you why they were fighting but the reason seemed mundane to him.

Had it been a normal day, he would’ve shut himself in his room or tried to reconcile but Frankie had forced him out of the house to get take out with her. He reluctantly obliged.

Frankie shoved a fortune cookie in his face. “Good things are coming to you.” His fortune read.
