Hi!! I got inspired by some of the lineart-less pieces on this app, so I decided to try it out and cooked this up without a sketch! It looks really pretty!!! Not only that but It's perfect because Heart's birthday is coming up soon and I technically didn't miss it...? (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)

The smell of cinnamon apples is welcoming enough though.}

{She walks and talks, rushing to get you a plate of cobbler. Topping it with some french vanilla ice cream and a pinch of cinnamon on top. Setting up a tidy seat at the table for you to sit in to try it.}

{She picks a cup and pours him a glass, pulling out a lemon to slice. She takes a knife out of the drawer to slice up half of the lemon, taking two slices to put into your lemonade and placing the rest into the fridge. Placing the glass next to your plate after a small clean up.}

"That's what I love about making hot desserts! A chilled fruit juice or punch could pair so well with it no matter what it is! Flavor mixing and matching is my favorite part of cooking! And trying different cultures spices things up! I've been trying to learn more French style recipes!"

{She goes on, walking and talking around the table in circles with excitement and confidence.}

"You flatter me, my friend! It truly means so much to me! Cooking is my favorite hobby, desserts being my strongest suit! And my style of cooking is one open to any and many exotic tastes or ingredients! Cooking competitions open your palette to the world and give them idea of what you do with skill to audience, but those competitions limit that some unique cooking styles to accommodate the judges tastes! If judge only ate American style spaghetti, they wouldn't care much for Makaroni Po-Flotski which is dish that call for similar ingredients and my Mama's childhood favorite. Cooking is freeform skill, and sometimes to satisfy that desire to cook better is the close people around you cheering you on and tell you your work is amazing dozens of times! Competitions would be fun, but sharing my skill with friends and peers is what really makes me feel like I'm on cloud 9!

{She yammers on, very expressive with her hands as she speaks. Using a book of seeming handwritten recipes on the counter as an example.}

{She walks back in with her journal, flipping to an empty page to immediately jot down what she's already known or heard. Sitting across from you, sketching out examples to what she's written. She looks up to you to ask something, but she covers her briefly and stops herself.}

"I-I don't want you to feel like I'm testing on you like lab rat, please do let me know if you're uncomfortable!"

"Ah! Right! I nearly forgot! Being able to access scarily unlimited worlds makes it easy to see it as one.. Moving on! My first question is... Does it hurt to morph your body?.."

{She asks wearily, noting how much you could morph already.. Assuming there's a limitation}

"I thankfully do remember when we first met and you had tried your best to shift into me, but with few imperfections. I assume that if there's more practice or tolerance with your morphing, you'd be able to replicate anybody or anything perfectly! And that's just morphing!"

{*She explains while tapping her pen on her wrist}

{She continues writing as she taps her heel against the chair leg with excitement, she seems to be having fun}

{You grab all of her attention as she excitedly leans closer to your demonstration, dropping her pen. Her eyes are full of wonder and curiosity, reaching for your morphing hand slightly}

"It feels more like oobleck but has more of wet clay firmness when you try to form it into something before taking on the original texture of the result.. In this example, you're having trouble mimicking the fur texture! This result is formed out of just memory.. Though, would it be the same result even as you stare at photo reference?"

"And I remember when you morphed into me, you couldn't hold the form too long! Does it become more unstable when you use more of your body?"

{She releases the paw, looking at her hands for any residue of the black matter}

{She attempts to shift the topic as she starts writing on her journal again, not wanting to keep the conversation on verbally dissecting you}

"Ah yes... Practice makes more comfort.. When I first started trying to control my portals, I was tripping, falling into water or twisting my ankle! Even worse, I was opening portals to places like India trying to go to the bathroom or my closet.."

{She feels a tinge of deja vu but can't put her finger on it..}

"Yes actually! I made it so I can teleport to accurate locations points even with migraine! For example, if I wanted to go to supermarket, I'd end up at dollar store nearby! But the downside was that I started having nightmares every other night.. It's one struggle after another!"

{She flips to a page in her journal about herself, scanning the page.}

"Oh! To make it simpler to explain; I have to remember the area really well because I need to describe the little details of the place I want to go. For example; I want to go to local restaurant in town, I'd have to think about certain things on their menu, describe a couple of decorations they had up, and the appearance of at least one of the employees. Another problem with this method of control is that I found out I am somehow able to portal into the past... Let's say, this restaurant closed 5 years ago.. But the portal still opens to active restaurant; I traveled to 5 years ago or whatever date comes up on my order receipt. Finding such fact out, often gets me immediate migraine. And after a bit of time, the memory of it spots out if not written down immediately.."

{She recites most of what she said from her journal after flipping a page}

"...Very hard... Sometimes, I have to wait for my neighbor to complain about my mailbox being full of advertisements and coupons to even see the other side of my front door after long while. For fresh air, I often just go to random places my portals open to if it doesn't seem too dangerous. And I live on higher floor, so the windows aren't too useful. If I close the blinds, they work like doors too, believe it or not.."

"A nice hug would be lovely! But I promise you I will be ok! I-I've experienced worse, couple of deceiving dreams and some constant misdirection is nothing compared to it! Plus, like I've said earlier! Knowing someone is rooting for you is just enough sometimes!"

{But really, your reaction to what she thought was rather tame makes her "silently" realize that this is a way bigger problem than what she first assumed..}

{She feels the softness of your wings and she can't help but smile. She stays silent but her hold is firm, staying for as long as she can.. She feels it's been a while since she last hugged anyone... Maybe that is something she should be bothered by..}

{She speaks so softly, this being the most comfortable hug she's ever had.}

{...Besides her soft breathing, you can now hear that it's raining outside, the droplets landing on rain chimes hung out at the window next to her desk.
