𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲: After the horrid events that took place at Driftmark, Viserys realizes that if he continues to hope for the rift between his family to mend upon good wishes, it will only destroy his house, legacy, and those he loves so dearly
He sends Aemond to ward on Dragonstone, Rhaenyra accepts the boy into her home and vows to mend the broken bonds before she ascends the iron throne
Only then when Rhaenyra welcomes the boy to her family’s table for supper, sees to his studies, and tends to his wounds does Aemond realize Rhaenyra is not the monster his mother nor grandsire make her out to be, he vows to grow strong and wise to protect her and her claim.
