The DANBRO team did some traveling this week! A project took us to northeast Maryland, where a large warehouse was beginning to settle. Helical underpinning piles were the most fast and least disruptive method to keeping the warehouse open during construction. IDEAL 3.5 inch pipe pile (schedule 80 wall) were installed to 100 kips. COUNTER FORCE 2 Brackets were used as the terminations; the underpinning was performed to prevent further settlement, and a bottle jack was used to ensure the brackets were tight to the bottom of the footing and secure. Job well done! #DANBROnation #HelicalHappenings
Recently #DANBRO's Nick Gill spent the morning in Annapolis, Maryland with the crew from Levelift Foundations putting A.B #Chancehelicalpiles in for a new home being built yards off the South River. Levelift Foundations had two machines there to install a total of 800 feet of linear feet of pile a day.
