Y: (confused. Glares back)

B: (still staring)

Y: (starts getting offended. Puts more umph into his glaring)

B: (continues to stare)

Y: (tilts his head in like a "wanna fight?" Motion)

B: (head falls and starts panicking) "what are we....?"

Y: "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!??!"

M is a rich kid from rich parents but she isn't annoying about it. Shes hard working and cares and understands her situation.

The problem is, her parents dont understand. They constantly push her and insists she should just come stay at home for a year.

Dont go into emergency services, choose something safer! Come home! Well support you.

She appreciates it, of course, but she doesnt want it. She wants to work hard to earn her keep. She feels like she has to prove herself all the time, that she isn't just some trust fund kid or some nepo baby.

Its one of her biggest insecurities, so she tries not to bring it up a lot.

M and Y cant love each other. Not immediately.

They spent their entire childhoods pushed into these boxes of whats right. They hated it and grew closer out of spite, never breaching something really romantic. In highschool they tried the whole kissing in secret thing, but it only felt forced and weird knowing its what their parents wanted.

Now as adults, when given the opportunity to live their own lives, they stay close, grow closer, and let them develop that romance more naturally.

I want them to be childhood best friends trope. They stayed together the whole time, but only now are beginning to consider the possibilities of what they could be.

Explodes them with my mind.

B is in fact not homophobic but actually very much experiencing a sexuality crisis definitely inflicted by Y
