my boyfriend has been living in poverty for years now, and it’s since gotten worse now that his dad is working less and less since going to the hospital, and was secretly saving up money to buy himself a new grill. whenever his parents can afford to buy groceries, they only cook about once every other day, and it’s often rotten food weeks beyond the best by date that ends up making him sick. they’re also extremely controlling about what he takes out of the kitchen, and try to guilt him into not eating anything, or make fun of him if he does. so, he’s been using his artwork to afford literally one nice meal a day, but nobody is buying currently due to everyone saving up for christmas presents, and it won’t be long until he’s completely bottomed out and basically left to poison himself with rotten food or starve again. the laptop he does said artwork on is also on its way out, and repairs are likely going to be at least $300. getting a job is currently not an option due to covid lockdowns in his country, his immunocompromised status, and his controlling parents usually trying to stop him from working. so please, i implore you, if you can donate literally any small amount helps. www.p*yp*l.com/paypalme/ginotane ^^^ (paste this into your url bar and replace the asterisks with ‘a’) if you’re into furry art/OCs, let me know if you’d like to support him by buying a character design instead, and i’ll dm you! if it helps to sway anyones opinion, yes, he does have oppression based challenges. he’s indigenous (maori), physically and mentally ill (scizophrenic, did, ptsd, and depressed), autistic, and nonbinary transmasc. he’s also living in an abusive household which is choking out his attempts at finding work.
