How would you summon or attempt to summon a demon with these sigils? Like, what would you have to do and is there any form of prayer or?
Please caution yourself against summoning spirits. I don't recommend it and it isn't to be used as experimental dabbling.
Paimon
Paimon is the ninth demon of the Goetia. He is a great king, ruling 200 legions, among them are those of the Order of Angels and the Order of Potentates. When called upon, he will appear accompanied by kings Abal/Labal and Labali/Abali, as well as 25 legions; unless the conjurer wishes otherwise. He comes in the form of a man with a beautiful face riding a dromedary, clad in a great crown. When summoned, an offering must be given; some sources suggest sacrifice. A great host of spirits with trumpets and cymbals, among other musical instruments, also accompany him.
He has a great voice, often roaring when he appears. The conjurer must tell him to alter his voice; otherwise he will continue to speak in such volumes. He may teach all arts and sciences, give dignity, and may bind any man to the conjurer. He teaches of the earth, and the origins of the wind. He gives good familiars. He is to be observed towards the west. He is of the Order of Dominations, and very loyal to Lucifer.
He can be constrained by the angel Hasiel.
Barbatos
The eighth demon of the Goetia, Barbatos is a grand duke of hell who appears while the sun is in Sagittarius, accompanied by four kings and infernal troops. He understands the voices of animals and can break open enchanted treasures hidden by magicians.
He is of the Order of Virtues, knows of the past and future, and can reconcile quarrels with friends. He rules 30 legions.
He may be constrained by the angel Cahetel.
Amon
Seventh demon of the Goetia, Amon is a powerful Marquis of hell. He governs 40 legions of demons.
He is considered the most stern. He appears as a wolf with a serpent’s tail, breathing fire. At the request of the summoner, he may transform into human shape, though with teeth of a dog and the head of a raven.
He speaks of the past and future, and resolves feuds and controversies between allies. He may also cause men and women to fall in love.
Valefor/Malaphar
Sixth demon of the Goetia, Valefor is a mighty duke governing 10 legions.
He appears in the shape of a lion with the head of a thief or an ass, bellowing. He is known to be a good familiar, though he causes temptation to steal.
He is constrained by the angel Jelahel.
Marbas
The fifth demon listed in the Goetia, Marbas is a great president of hell who rules 36 legions of demons.
He appears as a lion when summoned, but may transform into human shape at the summoner’s request. He gives truth of things hidden or secret, causes disease, and cures sickness. He offers wisdom in mechanical arts, and can change men into other forms.
How to summun a deity (not curious, just for guidance)?
For reasons withheld, I’m not going to give instructions on how to summon anything on this blog.
However, if it is guidance you are looking for, I’d recommend meditating. Or buying an oracle deck. Or even praying, if you’re into that kind of thing.
Typically, if you’re going to summon something, that something prefers you to have a concrete reason/request rather than mere life questionings.
Samigina/Gamigin
Also called Gamigin, Samigina is the fourth demon of the Goetia and a great marquis of hell. He rules over 30 legions.
He takes the form of a horse, but may shift into that of a human at the invoker’s request. He speaks with a raspy voice.
Samigina teaches the liberal sciences, speaks of those who have died in sin, and practices necromancy. He may raise the souls of those that dwell in purgatory, or that have drowned at sea, and force them to answer questions.
He is constrained by the angel Elemiah.
Vassago
The third demon of the Goetia, Vassago is a prince of hell and governs 26 legions of demons.
He is of good nature, compared to Agares. He speaks of the past and future, and is invoked typically in rituals of divination. He has the power to find things hidden or lost.
He is constrained by the angel Syrael.
Agares
Alternatively spelled Agreas, the second demon of the Goetia falls under the power of the east, and is a duke of hell. He commands 31 legions.
He appears in the form of an old man riding a crocodile with a goshawk at his hand. He teaches all languages, and can retrieve runaways- as well as make them run. He has the power to cause earthquakes, and can destroy spiritual and temporal dignities. He was once of the Order of Virtues.
He is constrained by the angel Jeliel.
Bael
The first of the 72 Goetic demons, Bael is a fertility deity of the Canaanites, a fallen angel and a demon.
He is a king ruling the east, and rules over 66 legions of demons. He appears in several forms- that of a cat, toad, human, or a combination of the three. He speaks with a raspy voice and grants wisdom and invisibility.
His name means “god” or “lord”, and is associated with the deities called Ashtaroths and Baals (see: Astaroth). The Canaanites often worshipped Bael by sacrificing children in flames. In the Zohar, Bael is said to be at the same rank as the archangel Raphael.
Variations of his name gave rise to Beelzebub, lord of the flies.
Foras
The 31st of the 72 demons of the Goetia, Foras is considered a President of Hell. He governs 29 legions of demons.
Foras is largely a teaching demon. He may teach logic and ethics, as well as reveal the magickal properties of stones and herbs. He will grant wisdom, longevity, and eloquence to whomever deals with him. He has the ability to make others invisible and find hidden treasure or lost items.
His physical manifestation resembles that of a chevalier or a well-built man.
He is constrained by the angel Lectabal.
Belial
The sixty-eighth demon listed in the Goetia, Belial is a demon of deception and treachery.
He appears as a beautiful man with a soft voice, yet his true nature opposes his appearance. He is most often cited as a demon that turns humankind to sexual perversion and sodomy. He is mentioned in the Testament of Amram to be a leader of the armies of the Sons of Darkness, in direct opposition to Michael, leader of the Sons of Light.
The name Belial has been perceived as having roots in the Hebrew word “beli y’aal”, meaning “without worth”. In modern translations of the Bible, his name is translated instead into “wickedness”. The terms “sons of Belial” and “daughters of Belial” come from numerous mentions in the Old Testament, and typically refer to reckless and worthless individuals. He is described as being in direct opposition to Christ, and his name is perceived by many to be another name for Satan or the Antichrist.
Belial is seen as a demon who governs all things of darkness, and his every way is of darkness. He is described as leader of the Sons of Darkness and the king of all demons in the Dead Sea Scrolls; his titles include the Prince of Darkness and the King of Evil.
He commands 80 legions of demons.
Astaroth
One of the three supreme demons, Astaroth was a high-ranking angel before his fall.
He may appear as either a beautiful or hideous angel riding a dragon and holding a snake in his right hand. He has a peculiar stench about him, namely his breath. If one wishes to conjure this demon, they must hold a silver ring before their face to protect themselves, as well as keep their distance.
Astaroth is a teacher of the sciences, and holds secrets of past, present, and future. He often speaks of the Creation and the Fall, and the wrongdoings of angels. He can reveal the hiding place of treasures, given that they are not magickally protected. He wields powers of awesome destruction.
His origin comes from the Bible, where he is most commonly referred to as “the Ashtaroth” in association with “the Baals”, gods forbidden to the Israelites. These two terms were commonly viewed as terms for deities, Baals being male and Ashtaroths being female- therefore, it is implied that Astaroth underwent a change of sex, presumably during his fall.
Believing that he was punished unjustly by God, he awaits restoration to his former place in Heaven.
