Requested by @mymisstina - thank you so much for being my first requester! It’s longer than I intended, but I hope you enjoy!!! It was a bit hard because I really wanted to make it good, as it was a request… Feel free to request at any time as I want to improve.
I sat at my desk typing away. Just one more document to finish, one more… I was seriously struggling to keep my eyes open; it was the end of one of a hard week of work. I looked down at my watch 11:39 pm. Work was supposed to finish at 7 but I knew my boss would be furious if I didn’t finish all the work given to me. 11:52 pm. I was finally done, quickly I packed up my laptop, picked up my bag and coat and made a B-line to the exit. I was almost there when something caught my attention. The light in Sehun’s office was still on. Sehun was the first person who was actually nice to me since I started work here. Though we didn’t work in the same department, he was always nice to me when I saw him. I spent my long work days thinking about him and I guess you could say I had developed a crush on him…
I slowly crept up to his office and peeped through the door. “Sehun” I whispered. I went in, he seemed to be sleeping. “Yo, Sleep-hun. I hope you’re not slacking off, go home and sleep.” he replied with a stifled groan. “Sehun, are you okay?” I dashed towards him, he was sweating. He winced at the hand I softly put towards his burning forehead. I shook him slightly, “Se-sehun, what’s wrong?”
“I-I-” he burst into a fit of coughing. ”Y/n? Take, take me home,” I somehow managed to lift him up, even though I almost got crushed by his weight. When I got to my car, I put him in the seat beside the drivers and buckled him in. I got into the car and drove as quickly as possible. I knew where he lived as he had invited me to his house before, but I had gotten nervous I made an excuse not to go. As I set off to his home, I got a call from my roommate. I answered the call.
“Y/n, where are you? You should be home by now, are you on your way?” she said worriedly.
“Well, I’m not sure how long it will take. I’m kinda driving Sehun home.” I whispered the last part in case he was conscious enough to hear me.
“Sehun!! THAT HOTTIE YOU ALWAYS TALK ABOUT! DID YOU FINALLY GET TOGETHER?” my phone was connected to my car speaker, so it was loud. Sehun started to move in his seat. I hope he didn’t hear that.
“NO! I found him in his office; he’s sick I’m just driving him home and I’ll probably drop him off give, him some medicine and get the hell out of there.”
“When are you just gonna tell him you like him? This whole shy thing you got going, it’s not cute honey. Remember when you freaked out that time he invited you to a party, you’re ridiculous just-”
“Bye, I’ll see you later.” I immediately cut the call, praying that Sehun heard none of the highly embarrassing call. Finally, I got his house, dragged him in and onto his bed. After, I went to the kitchen to find medicine. I found some but then I realised he would need to eat something to take it. I opted for soup, it was quick and easy. Whilst that was cooking I put a warm towel on his forehead. I went back to the kitchen put the soup in a bowl and carried it, with the medicine, on a tray into his room. I sat him up slightly and fed him as best as I could, giving him the medicine. He’ll be better by morning, hopefully… Fatigue caught up to me and I started to yawn. I didn’t notice it but everything went dark and…..
I heard the birds chirping a sweet song, I felt warm light on my skin. I rubbed my eyes and turned, I froze after I felt a body. My eyes shot open, all I could see was his face. His perfect eyebrows, high nose bridge, soft lips, his deep brown eyes that were now staring into mine, his messy bed hair… His deep brown eyes that were now staring into mine, “Sehun! You’re awake,” my face and ears heated up, I nervously laughed. “I’m sorry I just woke up a-and I didn’t mean to sleep with- um in the same bed as you- oh no. I’m so, so sorry, I’ll just leave. You seem better and-”
“This whole shy thing you got going, it’s not cute honey.” he huskily laughed. He must have heard everything, I’m screwed. As I was about to get off his bed he pulled me close to him and whisper into my ear, “So, when are you gonna confess?” he looked me in the eyes. “Or, should I?” after that he just got up “Thanks for looking after me, I’ll make you breakfast. And- maybe later we could go on a date?”
“Yes,” I replied, too quickly, burying my face in my hands from embarrassment.
